Chapter 34

Gerard's P.O.V.

I took her over to the ocean, to let her watch the sun setting. Just as she was amazed by the beauty, I signaled Vic to come over with the roses and give them to her from behind. So, he gently tapped her shoulder and gave them to her, then joined Ronnie and Jorel by standing behind me as she looked at me and went to speak. 

"Brook, you are the love of my life, I went literally crazy without you, and I don't think I'd be able to do it again. You and these babies are my life, and the first time I ever let my eyes meet your beautiful icy blue eyes, I immediately fell in love with you." I said as I held both of her hands. She was on the verge of tears, I could tell. I got down on one knee and proposed to her. "Brooklyn Marie Cherry, would you do the honor of marrying me?" I asked. 

Brook's P.O.V.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you!" I said to him, and he got up and hugged me, putting the beautiful ring on my finger. It looked almost exactly like the one he got me before, except it was white gold and purple diamonds. Everyone cheered as we got on boats and made our ways back to wherever we came from. I fell asleep on the car ride home, and Gee carried me back to the house and I woke up in his arms. 

I went into our bedroom and put on my pj's, then went into the other room to see the room almost done, and one more person was added to the crew, Jimmy. 

"I hope you don't mind I invited one more idiot to help" Lindsey said from behind me. 

"I don't mind, whatever get the work done." I say back to her. 

"So, let's the that ring!" She said, as I showed her the ring.

"Its so pretty, and you're lucky to have such a nice man to marry." She said to me. 

"Well its even more of an honor to have the best of best friends ever to be the maid of honor." I tell her.

"Wait, you're making ME the maiden of honor?" She said. I nodded. She hugged me, and helped me down the stairs to tell and show me the baby shower arrangements.

"So, its the 8th at 10 am at the firehouse? That's perfect." I said, hugging her. 

"The invitations are going out tomorrow, and I'm messaging everyone I can't send invitations to." She said. 

"That works, thank you so much." I said, hugging her once more. 

"Excellent! Then after the baby shower we have a wedding to plan." She said as Jorel and Vanessa walked in the door, giving me the scrapbook that they had started for Gee and I. Turns out that there was pictures of Gee and I that Jorel had saved form high-school that were in here. 

"Gerard told me to keep ALL the pictures I took of you guys, so I did. Then, he asked me to print them and Vanessa helped me start this for you guys, and Vanessa wants to help you keep track of it. So, she wants to take pictures during the baby shower and wedding and stuff and put them in here." Jorel explained. 

"Sounds great, and we would be honored, Vanessa, you take amazing pictures." Gerard said from behind me, looking over the pictures with me. 

"Thank you, and its an honor to help you." Vanessa said. "But we really must be going, we are both getting tired."

"Yea, we are too, and I bet the boys are as well as Lindsey. See ya later." I said as they waved bye and left. 

"Hey, we are done now." Frank said, appearing from the stairway. 

"Okay." Gee said, trying to give him the money that he earned. 

"No, you keep it. No need to pay me." Frank said, handing it back to him. "I am leaving soon though." 

"Okay, well thanks for helping. I really appreciate it." Gee said as Frank left. Gee tried to give everyone else the money they earned as well, but no one took it, all except my brother, who only took half. 

"Well, everyone left now. I think I'm gonna go get a quick shower, then I'll be up, okay sweetheart. I love you." He said as I went upstairs. 

"Okay baby, I love you too." I said as I laid down on our bed, slowly drifting to sleep, and Gee crawling in bed beside me not long after, falling asleep as soon as I did. 

~at the baby shower 2 weeks later***~

Everyone who was invited arrived and it was absolutely fantastic. Vanessa and Lindsey approached me in the middle of game time to discuss something. "Hey, we need to ask you a question. Did you and Gee think of names yet for the babies?" Vanessa asked me. 

"No, not yet." I said. "Why, do you guys want to make a game out of it or something?" 

"Yea, if its okay with you and Gee." Lindsey added. I nodded and called Gee over. 

"Gerard, come here please." I said to him, and he came over as quickly as possible. 

"Yea, darling?" He said.

"The girls want to make a game for baby names." I said. "They wanted your approval."

"Yea, that's fine. They can all choose two girl names and whoever names we pick gets 10 bucks each. Seems cool." Gee suggested.

"Perfect!" They both squealed as they went over to the classroom-sized white board on the wall. 

"Everyone! This is a game that the parents themselves pick the winners of. We want everyone to put at least two girl names on the board, and Brook and Gee will announce the winners and the winners get 10 bucks each. Ready, go!" Lindsey shouted, and everyone lined up to put their name ideas on the board.
