Chapter 43

I woke up from my brother waking me up. "Brook, dinner is done. Also, mom and dad saw the news report, and they want to know what you know. More about it will be on later when they interview a few of them." Wayne said, as he helped me up the stairs. 

"I do not want to hear about the fucking dickhead right now!" I sneered at my brother. 

"Alright, okay, we won't speak about it then." My dad said calmly. "But we do want to know what you know. Lyn-z does too."

"Let's eat first then we'll all talk." I said, as my mom put lasagna in front of me. I helped Lindsey cut it up for the girls, then I dug into mine. As soon as we were all finished, I sent the girls up to their room so we could have 'adult talk'. 

"Okay, so what's up?" My mom asked.

"He cheated on me. Last night I got a phone call from him, and he asked me who I was. I told him that I was his fiance, then some other dude picked up the phone, it must have been Danny Worsnop. He asked me who I was and I said it again, and I was getting irritated. Then I hear the dude who had Gee's phone say 'yea Gee get some' then he hung up the phone." I explain, just as the rest of the news re[ort came on.

"And we're back with the story. Here we have witnesses Ronnie Radke, Vic Fuentes, Frank Iero and brother of Way, Mikey. Mind telling us what you guys saw?" The blonde reporter said, and Ronnie took the microphone.

"All I know is something about Danny Worsnop spiking some sort of drink and Gee drank it, and Danny took him to a club where he got drunk, and came back to the bus with a h**ker." Ronnie said and Vic took the mic.

"Yea, that's basically what happened. Danny put some sort of f***king martini alcohol in the punch the Gee was drinking, which got him tipsy. Then he drug Gee to a club, and got him even more drunk, and Gerard and Danny both came back with h**kers." Vic said, handing the mic to Frank.

"You can all guess what happened that night. But Gee woke up this morning and had no clue what happened and saw the girl in his bed. He came out to me and asked me what happened, and I explained everything to him, and he got furious after I told him. He told me to get Ben, Danny's bandmate, and he were told to wake Danny up. So, we did wake Danny up, and before I knew Gerard grabbed him by his shirt and threw him out of the bus and got on top of him and began beating the absolute s**t out of him. That's when everyone else got involved, it took, what, 7 of us to get Gerard off of him?" Frank said, and everyone nodded. 

"Okay, that's the story, but when did Way begin yelling things at Worsnop?" The reporter asked. Mikey grabbed the mic. 

"A few minutes into him beating Danny up he screamed something along the lines of 'you f***ing homewrecker, you made my fiance break up with me and now I'm going to kill you', and everyone us in the surrounding buses woke up and we decided 'okay, let's break it up'." Mikey said.

"Okay thank you boys. Police decided to investigate a few hours ago, and they said that Ben Bruce, lead guitarist of Worsnop's band wants no charges pressed against Way, as Worsnop had it coming. Both men have been hospitalized. Worsnop came out of the fight with many severe bruises, some needing stitches and a broken nose, and Way came out of the fight with 3 broken knuckles and a deep cut that one of the men had already stitched up."  The news report ended there.

"I bet the boys had fun giving Gee stitches, he hates needles." Lyn-z retorted. I nod and go get a shower, then go back down to my room and look at all the drawings Gee drew me when we were younger hanging on the walls, resulting in me crying myself to sleep. 

Gerard's P.O.V.

They put me in the hospital, just to check and make sure nothing else is broken. "Mr. Way, you are now released." The nurse came in and said to me. I sign out and see Frank waiting for me and Danny comes out of the other room exit and I glare at him, with him glaring back. 

"Boys" I hear one of the guys say, as me and Danny are both grabbed by 3 or 4 of the guys. I'm shoved into the bus and taken back to my old house. My knuckles hurt, but I'm not allowed to unwrap them. I go to my bunk and sleep until we are at my house. 

"Hey, Gerard, we're at your house." Frank says, waking me up. I get my bag and go up to my house and unlock the door, and go and walk around the house. This isn't what I expected. I expected to hear two little girls running towards me screaming "daddy" and hugging my legs. Instead I see a note and an engagement ring. Come back when you've decided you want me back, and when you know you aren't going to cheat. I'm leaving with the babies and you won't be allowed to see them otherwise, don't come looking for me. Have your brother call me when you decide you want me back. -Brooklyn and the kids.

That's it. That's all I was left with. I tried calling her phone before, but she never answered I wonder where she went. I go up to our old room and lay on her side of the bed. It still has her scent of her perfume, Japanese cherry blossoms. I lay there and sob, and cry until I cant cry anymore, and I've fallen asleep. 

"Gerard, hey wake up." I'm being woken by someone, a female at that. 

"I'm up Brook." I say, and throw my left arm over to where she lays, only to have my arm swing over the edge, and I realize I'm laying where she always did, and it hits me. I start sobbing again, realizing once again, that she's gone. 

"Gerard, Gee, hey, stop crying." The voice says again, I realize it's Vanessa. 

"How can I stop fucking crying? I've lost her for good. I'm a no good low life Vanessa." I say and go to the bathroom. I lock the door and search for something, and find it. A razor. I take it apart and hold the blade in my hand, just before Jorel kicks the door in, and Vanessa grabs the blade from by hand.
