Chapter 17

(Avery's Point of View)

I woke up the next morning half asleep dragging myself out of bed. Slowly, but sadly I pull the nice toasty covers off of me and hop out of bed. I groan and half heartily go to the bathroom to jump in the shower.

I only have three more days of school after this. Then I will be able to graduate and go to college to become a dance teacher! I always have wanted to be that since I was little. I personally thought it would be one of the funniest jobs out there. I remember when I was younger I would line up all my stuffed animals and pretend to teach them how to dance.

I pull out a pair of jean capris and a red V-neck shirt that looks really good on me. I grab my red vans to go with this outfit and put on some blush and eyeliner. I then let my hair air dry from my shower and it goes into my natural wave I have.

I grab my light blue Jan sport backpack and head out the door to Mason's house. Mason......... He was all I could think about last night. I couldn't stop replaying the kiss in my mind. I had never been kissed like that before! I felt like I was on cloud 9 and don't even get me started about those lips. Those lips, oh those lips were magic they were so soft and warm. The whole kiss over all was amazing I just hope he felt the same way!

I also hoped he was not one of those guys were started acting weird after the admitted their feelings and just made things over all just awkward. When I finally snapped back into reality I realized I was at Mason's house. When I knocked on the Mark answered.

"Hey Mark!" I smiled and waved at him. I wondered where Mason was usually he answered the door.

"Hey Avery, It is so nice of you to visit me. Come on in and we can have some tea and maybe even gossip about my brother." He winked at me and let out a chuckle. He was clearly joking around just to agitate his brother who then ran down the stairs and grabbed my hand. Mason then proceeded to take me to his car.

He then looked up at his brother and shouted, "Goodbye Mark and no she cannot join you for tea. She does not hang around losers!"  Mason laughed at this and on our way pulling out of the drive way we saw Mark stick his tongue out at Mason and shout, "Meany!"

I laughed at the sight of that! Sometimes I wish I could have a sibling, but then I look at Mark and Mason and think against it! I chuckled at that thought.

"Can you believe we got like what, three days of school left?" He asked

"Yeah, I know right! It is starting to get stressful with applying to colleges, but hopefully it will calm down."

"It should calm down once we head off to college."

"I am really nervous about college. I guess it is just because I do not know what to expect. I mean, I heard all the study from college wears you out and that is something I am not looking forward to!
