Chp 28: Don't judge a book by it's cover

School was fine. Ivory was really shy but I introduced her to Theresa and Debbie and they like her.

So at least she's got 3 friends.

I know she still likes Randy.

And I'm fine with it.

"Richelle?" Ivory waves a hand on front of my face.

"What?" I ask.

"You totally just spaced out." Ivory says.

"I was thinking."

"Oh yeah, about what?" She rolls her eyes.

"Oh just how I want to do this." I say then pick her up and throw her in the lake.

She runs out of the water and starts jumping up and down trying to get warm again.

"That was so cold why would you do that?" She squeals.

"No reason." I giggle.

She grabs me hand and drags me in but I take her with me.

I stand up and push her under the water.

She gets up and splashes me in the face.

"Oh it's on." I say.

I tackle her but she gets on top of me and holds me under the water.

I kick her and she gets off.

"Well that was..." She starts.

"Fun." I shrug.

"You cold?" She asks.

"No I'm actually pretty warm." I say sarcastically.

"Well let's get changed." Ivory makes herself dry with a little air fist and so do I. I make dry clothes appear on myself and we start to walk back.

"You know Ivory, your not as shy as I thought you were." I say.

"And your not as as sassy."

"You shoob take that back I am to sassy." I say.

"Okay okay fine, your sassy."

"Better." I say.

She is shy. But when you get to know her, boy is she fun.

Don't judge a book by its cover is basically what I'm trying to say.

"You exited for Christmas?" Ivory asks.

"Christmas isn't for 2 months why are thinking about it now?" I laugh.

"Christmas is my favourite holiday." She says.

"Why because you get presents?" I laugh.

"You read my mind." She says.

"Well I am part of the illuminati it's my job." I smirk.

"What!" She yells.

"Don't worry. I won't kill you. Unless you tell anybody my secret. Then of course you'd be dead."

"Again, what!" She yells.

"I was kidding Ivory. Chill." I say.

She punches me in the shoulder but not that hard.

"Well it's kind of getting late, we should go back home." I say.

"What will Riichi say when you ask him if I can stay over?" Ivory asks.

"We can ask him right now." I grab her hand and teleport us to Riichi's house.

I walk in with Ivory and I see Terrance and Riichi cooking something in the kitchen.

"Yo Riichi!" I yell.

"What?" He yells back.

"So I found another alternate personality. Her names Ivory, twin of the purple ninja. Is it okay if she lives here?" I ask.

"Sure. Just don't bring anyone else." Riichi says.

"Alright since that's settled...lets go up to my room." I say.

We run upstairs and sit down on my bed.

"Do you think there are other alternate personalities out there?" Ivory asks.

"Yeah, and if there are, we need all the help we can get when we fight the sorceress." I say.

"When do you think she'll attack?" Ivory asks.

"I'm almost certain she'll attack on Valentine's Day. If not then, I don't know." I say.

"I wonder what the other alternate personalities are like." Ivory says,

"Same. So how was your first day of school?" I ask.

"It was alright."

"I can see you like Randy." She starts blushing.

"He's cute and all but it's not like I'm in love with him..."

"He only turned you down because he didn't know you. Maybe if you get to know him more he'll like you maybe?"

"Maybe." She shrugs. "But why do you hate him?"

"We have a complicated relationship. He's my twin and two weeks ago at a dance, we kissed, I thought I loved him but then he tried to force it. He used the art of love on me and I never forgave him. I'm dating Terrance now." I say.

"But have you ever done something bad to him and he almost never forgave you?" Ivory asks.

"Yeah but-" I start.

"No buts Richelle. You both need to learn to forgive and forget. Can you both say the words and forget this?"

"Say what? That we're sorry?" I ask.

"Precisely. You both need to give each other a second chance." Ivory says.

Maybe I do

Freaking out at Randy like that was pretty bad...

He did it because he loved me.

"Things will never go back to way they were before." I say.

"You guys can still be friends?" Ivory asks.

"Getting friend-zoned? Please." I say.

"Think of it as a double friend-zone. Your friend-zoning him and he's friend-zoning you."

"That is a good idea..."

"I know it is."

"But enough with this love talk. Let's play a game." I say.

"Hide and seek?" Ivory asks.

"Dude, that games for like, 5 year olds." I say.

"We're 5 year olds at heart." Ivory says.

"Okay fine! 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! Ready or not here I come!" I yell as Ivory runs off to hide.
