Chapter 15

Luna and Ílios stand shocked that Julian is there.

Luna leans over and asks "what are you doing here?"

Julian glances at the king with a glare and says "I need information that Glacies can't see. And know that he says your dead but your standing in front of me. Looks like he's a tyrant who lies to the whole kingdom" he said the last part in disgust.

Luna didn't know what to say to that. She didn't know he had such hatred towards her father. She just assumed he was oblivious to what happen out side of the ice castle.

Luna looked up at him in admiration. She has feelings for this guy and she feels he shares those feelings to her.

They stare at each other eyes for a little bit until he breaks his the gaze and glances behind Luna.

Julian feels unwanted around Ílios. He feels that she knows all of his deepest secrets.

He looks back at Luna and she has a knowing look in her eyes. He takes a deep breath and says,
"Luna, would want to walk around with me for a little bit? I heard there are great little shops around here."

Luna's eyes brighten and he thinks that she's gonna say yes but before she could get the words out Ílios pulls her away.

"Luna we better get back to Mare's before anyone sees us." Ílios says. Luna looks down disappointed but Julian won't let her go that easily.

"Only a few shoppes Ílios. We will be quick. " Julian says.

Ílios reluctantly lets her go with Julian.

After they get out of ear shot Julian leans down to Luna and remarked,
"I don't think your sister likes me very much"

Luna laughs lightly.
"Well she thinks she's mom and says that if mom was still her she would be disappointed in me for.. Er... Befriending a centaur. But nothing to worry about"

"Reassuring." He whispers.

When they turn the corner, Luna gets slammed into a wall. Her head hits the wood hard and she sees black dots at the sides of her sight. Julian was pulled away from Luna on the other side of the old ally way. The ground covered in dirt.

A faint figure comes out of the dust cloud and they bring Julian over in from of Luna. A group of huge men holding Julian in his spot.

They Royal guards.

When the figure comes close enough for Luna to see she notices it's the tyrant himself.

Luna struggles to get up but is dizzy. She looks over at Julian he's fighting to get to her but the guards twist his arm behind his back.

Luna's heart is beating against her chest like it wants to get out of its cage.

"Your a fool coming back here Luna! Especially with your new lover I see. You are putting his life in danger too!"

King Poten walks over slowly to Julian. Luna notices the knife behind her fathers back. She yells for him not to do this. Not to hurt Julian and to come and kill her instead. The king doesn't listen. The ruler pulls the knife from behind his back and Julian stands still and closes his eyes excepting his fate. Leaving his lover behind as he goes into the new world.

Luna watches in terror as the king brings down his knife but before he can put it through Julian. Ílios comes in and sweeps the King off his feet. The knife grazes Julian's leg as the king falls. The knife comes in contact with the skin just enough to make a bloody cut.

Julian yells in pain. The guards are distracted by the king on the ground there hold on Julian loosens and he pulls out of there grasp.

Luna is seeing more and more black spots. As her vision becomes blacker. The last thing she sees is Julian kneeling beside her telling to hold on. Soon Luna is taking into darkness.
