I'm so sorry,
what I hide behind curtains could kill you.
What my mind thinks about,
would make you leave.
The things I hide could break you.
That's why I'm so secluded.
Now you know.
Now you understand.
But what you won't understand,
is why I can't live with myself.
Why I can't tell you much.
I don't want to tear you down,
so instead,
I hold you high as I tear myself apart,
behind these high concrete walls of mine.

PoesieA collection of poems mainly about love and loss. Some personal experiences, others are from different people's perspectives. It's fairly self explanatory. Every poem speaks for themselves and tells it's own story. Enjoy!
