I don't want you to see me like this.
Ever.
I'd rather sit in silence than tell you what's wrong.
I'll push you away like always.
Just tell you to sleep.
I tell you that I'll talk about it in the morning.
And you should forget about it.
I worry about you more than you know.
And I can't sleep knowing you're unsafe,
so.
Just go to bed,
I tell you.
Over again,
until you actually do.
Then I realize,
I'm left with nobody but myself,
and my thoughts.
