It's so hard,
trying to keep my mind off you.
It's like trying to hide yourself from seeing something so pure,
beautiful,
and innocent.
It's just like a crow chasing a butterfly.
If only I could understand you,
and how you feel,
maybe then it wouldn't feel like an endless chase,
without meaning.
Maybe then I'd mean something to you.
Maybe then you too would ask if I'm okay.
Maybe then you would even walk by my side and stand up for me,
like I do you.
Maybe...
I guess we'll never know,
because for now,
it seems like I'm just going to keep chasing this butterfly,
and you'll keep slowly dodging the crow.
