I'm getting better --
we're getting better.
My trust in you is beginning to flourish.
I feel safety within your arms.
Hearing you even mention her name,
still shuts me down.
But I'm getting better.
I have faith in you.
I want you,
and only you,
for as long as I live.
And I have faith that you feel the same about me.
I'm getting better.
My anxiety about us,
about her,
is fading,
like the stars as the sun begins to rise.
I'm getting better,
because you're by my side,
helping me through it all.
And there will be a day,
when I'm completely different,
and I'm way better than ever.
But for now,
I'm only getting better...
