Eyes shine blue like the ocean,
behold the many tears they've cried,
all the brutality they've seen.
Heart strong like a bull,
oh the amount of stitches it's endured.
Arms and legs like that of tree limbs,
shaky yet tough,
the ton of scars and bruises they've with held.
She is strong,
in many ways.
Flawless isn't a word to describe her,
for everyone has their flaws.
She's far from perfect.
And most definitely far from pretty.
But who's cares?
Those aren't important anymore.
What's important now is honesty,
strength,
truth,
trust,
and a mere shoulder to cry on.
Someone who always has your back.
Someone like her.
For she is herself,
and she won't let that change.
Ever.
