I've learned a lot,
and you've helped me more than you could ever imagine.
He helped too.
And she.
Every little instant.
Every incident.
Has made me better.
Stronger.
I've learned a thing or too about love,
and loss,
and friendship,
and feeling like you're at the bottom.
You've pulled me up.
Taught me a thing or two,
like he had.
Only what you taught me was much different.
He taught me lies,
and sorrow,
and hurt,
and how not to treat someone.
How to make someone feel worthless,
like he had.
He taught me broken promises,
and sadness,
and ruined everything I'd ever known.
But you,
you taught me that there is life after death.
There's hope after disbelief.
There is trust after no longer having trust in anyone.
There is a good after a bad,
and often vice versa.
It's a never ending cycle,
but you have to get through it.
You taught me how to trust again,
how to love again,
I learned a lot from you.
Most of all,
I've learned to find myself.
And who I am,
and who I want to be.
My purpose.
But all my dreams wouldn't be the same without you.
Thanks to you,
I've realized my true goals and dreams.
And one of them is you.
I love you.

PoetryA collection of poems mainly about love and loss. Some personal experiences, others are from different people's perspectives. It's fairly self explanatory. Every poem speaks for themselves and tells it's own story. Enjoy!
