Chapter 23: Pretty Woman

Toni's Pov: I really hope that there won't be any awkwardness between Kenny and I today at the studio. I still feel like he owes me an apology, anyway let me prep myself for the day ahead.

As Toni was about to get out of bed, her phone rings.

*beep, beep*

Toni: Hello...

Kenny: Hey Tone, how are you?

Toni: Great thanks Kenny, and how are you?

Kenny: I'm aright thanks.

1 minute silence.....

Kenny: So I booked the studio session for 18h00 tonight, I'll come and pick you up later?

Toni: That's cool, I'll see you then.

Kenny: I love you with every portion of my being Tone.

Toni: Ohk Ken.

Kenny: Ohk Ken? You honestly can't still be tripping over yesterday.

Toni: And what makes you think that I am?

Kenny: Never mind Tone. I'll see you later on :(.

Toni: Later Ken. * hangs up*.

His Pov: I lied about the whole studio thing. I realised that I owe Toni an apology and since I'm off today, I plan on making it up to her....

Her Pov: It's fine Kenny, you're allowed to mess up and not even think to call and apologise :(. One day I'm gonna get tired of his dusty ass....

7 Hours later at 15:15: Toni does her hygiene routine, moisturises herself, sprays perfume and gets dressed. She wears her black high waist jean, with a yellow tank top tucked in , a silver chain, black closed stilletoes and a black leather jacket.

Kenny wears his blue jeans, with a white v-neck shirt, black sneakers and a blue blazer. He heads off to Toni's house.

*ding dong, ding dong *.

Toni rushes to the door and finds Kenny standing outside with a bouquet of red roses and a gift basket carrying a bottle of champagne with a box of chocolates, a teddy bear written sorry, beef jerky and a letter expressing his love for her.

Toni: Heyy Ken! What's all of this? * surprised look*.

Kenny: My apology to you Tone. I'm really sorry for upsetting you yesterday. *Leans in for a hug*.

Toni : Aaaw Ken! All you had to do was just say sorry and all would be forgiven *hugs him tightly*.

Kenny: I know babe, but tonight I wanna go an extra mile for you..

Toni: Huh, by us going to the studio? *confused look*.

Kenny: Haha, you'll see Tone :).

Toni: Hmm.. Let me grab that for you

Toni puts the gift basket inside the apartment and takes her black LV purse (handbag). She locks up and they head out to the movies.

At The Cinema:

Toni: Oh my gush, oh my gush Ken. I wanna watch Pretty Woman

Kenny: Chuckles**, What?? Hell naw, I brought you out here so that we can watch Rocky V together :)

Toni : TF!! What makes you think that it's going to differ from all the other Rocky movies?

Kenny: I don't know...

Toni: Aha.. Remember that I haven't accepted your apology yet? So Pretty Woman it is babe.

Kenny: Lol, ooohk. We'll watch Pretty Woman If that's what you really want. Tonight is all about you, forget that I even exist :).
