Chapter 22: She's not important!!

On the way to Toni's apartment:

Toni: I really had an awesome time today at the studio. Those girls are crazy hahaha.

Kenny: Lol, they sure are...

Toni: What are we doing tomorrow?

Kenny: Recording your final song for  the Boomerang Soundtrack babe

Toni: Aw man.. I was really starting to get used to the whole studio thing

Kenny: Haha. You're already a pro at it and should feel very proud of yourself Tone :) 

Toni: Thanks Ken :)

He places his hand on her thigh and starts rubbing it up and down, 'til his phone starts to ring.

Toni: Are you going to get that? *raises her eyebrow*.

Kenny looks down at his phone and ignores it..

Toni: I swear to God if you don't answer that phone, I just might...

Kenny: Might do what Tone? I never go through your stuff like that so please respect my privacy like I do yours *in a defensive tone*.

Toni: Yeah, whatever Kenneth.  Who is she? *removes his hand off her thigh*.

Kenny: Who?

Toni: Don't play dumb with me.

Kenny: She's not important Tone.

Toni: Suuure Kenneth, whatever you say..

Kenny: Why does it seem like you don't trust me?

*Mute**

Kenny: Ohk then suit yourself...

The rest of the ride to Toni's apartment is quiet. They arrive there 20 minutes later, with Toni's head laying against the window staring outside.

Kenny: We're here babe, *goes in for a kiss*.

Toni: Thanks for the ride, *leaves him hanging *.

Kenny: Ohk Tone. I love you

Toni : Aight then, goodnight.

Kenny: I said I love you..

*Mute*.

Kenny:  Goodnight Tone....

His Pov: Is she really expecting me to answer another girl's phone call in front of her?? Hell naw!

Kenny drives off, while Toni gets into her apartment and makes a call.

Trina: Braxton's residence, this is Trina speaking, hello?

Toni: Heeey sissy, how are you?

Trina: *Screaming* It's Toni y'all

The sisters all rush to the phone.

Trina: I'm awesome thanks Tone, how are you?

*Tamar grabs the phone*.

Toni: Lol, y'all are so noisy. I'm great thanks Trini, please pass the phone to Towanda? 

Tamar: Uuh, it's Tay Tone. Why you never ask to speak to me, huh?

Toni: Lol hey Monster, how's my cute adorable little sister doing?

Tamar: I'm fiiine...

Toni: Look Tayme, I'm going to fly you down here pretty soon so that we can spend some time together, okay?

Tamar: Yeeay, you're the best Toni. Hold on for Towanda..

Toni: Thanks Tayme.

Towanda: Hey sissy, how are you?
