Chapter 8

•Jack's POV•
It was 1 o'clock in the afternoon and I got s text from an unknown number.

Unknown= U
J= Jack

U: Hey Jack ❤️
J: Who is this?
U: A girl who will love you more than Kate ever could.
J: Who is this?
U: Baby you don't need to worry about who I am.
J: leave me alone or tell me who you are.
U: okay you really want to know who it is?
J: um duh.
U: it's Sierra.
J: no! No this isn't real. Sierra, NO!
U: oh Jacky boy it is and admit it that you love me.
J: Sierra I don't. I can't.
U: Jack are you sure you don't want this? *sent nudes*
J: Sierra! No. I don't want you at all.
U: mhm okay.
J: leave me alone.

•Sierra's POV•
Ha! Katelyn will never know what hit her.

S: hey Katie.
K: hey S
S: Jack told me he loved me and wanted me.
K: no.
S: yeah. He was forcing me.
K: to do what?
S: oh you know. The dirty
K: he wouldn't do that.
S: Kate who would you believe?
K: I don't know. He wouldn't do this to me.
S: Kate face it he did.
K: no. He wouldn't have.
S: he did.
K: I have to go.

•Katelyn's POV•

Sobbing, I typed "I have to go" and ended my conversation with Sierra.
He wouldn't do that! Would he? Madison had said I was his "girl of the day"

K: JACK FINNEGAN GILINSKY
J: what's wrong?
K: I think you know.
J: no.
K: so you "want" Sierra now, huh?
J: What are you talking about?
K: Jack you know damn well what I'm talking about.
J: baby I'm so confused.
K: *sends screenshot of convo with Sierra*
J: that is so twisted.
K: so you aren't saying it isn't true.
J: it's not true.
K: so I guess I was just your "girl of the day"?
J: no!
K: Madison was right. We are done Jack.
J: Katelyn please. Let me explain.
K: no. We're done and that's it.

•Jack's POV•
I started sobbing. I called Matt and told him everything. Even though we weren't on good terms he could talk to Katelyn. I sent him a screen shot of the actual conversation. I can't stop crying.

•Matt's POV•
I drove to Katelyn's house and banged on her front door. "GO AWAY JACK!" She screamed. I yelled back "ITS MATT!" I heard footsteps then the door opened and I felt her run into my arms and sob into my chest.
"Listen I'm going to explain everything then you are going to call Jack." I spoke softly. "No! No!" She said in between sobs. "Yes" I said more sternly. "Now look!" I showed her my phone and all of the texts between Sierra and Jack. She started crying harder. "S-she wouldn't h-have" she hiccuped. "You sound like Jack when he called me and told me the whole story." "Jack! Oh! Jack" she cried out. I took my phone back and called him. "D-did you talk to her?" He said still sobbing. "Yeah man. She is right here." I said. "Speaker, p-please" he said. "Yeah. Okay" I pressed the speaker button. "Okay" I said again. "K-Katelyn? Baby?" He spoke/sobbed. "I'm s-so sorry, J-Jack! I'm so stupid! I pushed you away. I need you." She said. She was sobbing as well. "Baby, I need you and I would n-never ever like Sierra" "Jack, I know. I love you so much. Can we not ever bring this night up again?" "Yes of course Baby" he said "I'll be right over"

They hung up and I stood up. "I guess that's my cue to leave." I said. "Matt? You are the best friend I could ever ask for. I really trust you. I love you." My heart fluttered but I knew she meant just as a best friend. I swallowed hard and said "I love you too." And I left. I got outside just as Jack was running inside. He stopped me real quick. "Hey man thank you." He said. "Yeah man no problem" and he ran inside. "BABY!" He yelled.
