"Matthew Espinosa has been bailed out." The police Sargent said. "WHAT?!! WHEN AND BY WHO?" I yelled so angry I gripped Jack's hand do tightly he winced in pain. Then his face got really serious. "What happened?" He said with a voice that I couldn't identify. It was like angry mixed with concerned sprinkled with sad. I held up a finger to signal to hang on. He nodded as the police Sargent said "Her name was Sierra Lakewood."
Oh my god! Sierra bailed Matt out.
"No! No no no!" I said. "She couldn't have. Why did you let him go? He almost committed murder. He put Jack into a coma!"
"I had no choice Miss. She came In with the bail check and I had to let him go." He said "I'm sorry. You can always request a restraining order." I threw my phone and started to cry. Not sad tears but angry tears because I couldn't fix anything. I couldn't protect Jack.
"BABE!" Jack yelled, scaring me "what happened?" He said in a calmer voice. He probably saw the frightened look in my eyes. "M-MATT!" I screamed.
•Jack's POV•
"MATT!" She screamed. "Those dumb police people let Matt go!" I could tell she couldn't get her words to come out right with all of the anger. "Who bailed him out?" I asked. "Sierra" she said starting to sob. "No, no, no baby! Don't cry." I said pulling her into a big big hug as she cried harder. "Jack! I can't loose you again!" She sobbed into my chest. "You won't baby. You won't" I said until she calmed down.
I heard my phone ringing and looked down at it. The caller ID said...
