Chapter 34

•Katelyn's POV•
Jack walked back in. "How?" I asked already knowing the answer. The officer and I had already planned it out. But I let him explain anyways. As he was explaining he walked over to Hayden Grace and picked her up. Then he sat down and grabbed her pink flowered bottle off of the table to feed her. I went over and picked up Andrew to feed him. As I fed him he stopped mid bottle. He never does that. "Jack?" I said confused "Yeah?" He said still looking at Hay "Andy stopped mid bottle. He never does that." I started "what do we do?" I know I shouldn't freak out. Matt probably fed him but still. "I don't know" Jack said "call mom."

I grabbed my phone and dialed Katherine's number. "Hello?" She spoke "hey Katherine!" I said in a cheery tone "I have a question for you." "Okay. Shoot." She said. "Well Andy always drinks his whole bottle. But when I was feeding him today he stopped mid bottle. What do I do? Do you think something's wrong?" I questioned. "No honey. He is probably just tired" she laughed "he's okay. You have that doctors appointment tomorrow anyways so you can ask her then if he is still doing that." "Okay Katherine! Thanks so much!" "Welcome honey!" She said.

"He's fine." I said as I walked upstairs. "Okay!" Jack said back. As I walked into Andrew and Hayden's room to put Andy down for a nap I heard Hayden's crying. I laid Andy down because he was already in his sleeper, and walked downstairs.

"Kate? Why is she crying?!" Jack asked panicking. I walked over to the pantry and pulled out a towel. Then I walked over to Jack and her and picked her up. I put her over my shoulder and burped her. "Oh my God!" Jack said frustrated. "Why couldn't I think of that?" "Baby it's okay. You aren't home as often so you didn't know." I said but instantly regretted it because I knew it bothered him that he wasn't home often. "I'm sorry." I said. "It's okay" Jack replied calm "I know I'm not home enough. I'm going to change that."

~that night~
"Babe I got this!" Jack said as I was trying to help him change Hay's diaper. It was funny. "No Gilinsky! You don't" I said laughing "you put it on backwards!" I booth bumped him out of the way. I put the diaper on like a pro. "Okay show off!" Jack said. We were having the most fun we have had in like a year. And it was with our kids. We weren't fighting, which believe me wasn't very often! He put Hayden's sleeper on her as I put Andrew's on him.

We laid them down at the same time and then as Jack was about to walk out I said "Yo Gilinsky!" Which was weird (but I've always wanted to say that) he turned around confused. "You don't put a pillow under her head." I said trying to hold back a giggle. "Oh" he said embarrassed and walked back to the crib and took it out from under her head.

We walked to the room and i walked to the bathroom and he changed into his pajama pants as I took off my makeup and out my shorts and tank top on. Even though I had just had my babies I was pretty skinny. I threw my hair up in a messy bun and brushed my teeth.

I walked back out and Jack was already laying in the bed. I walked over to him and laid down. We cuddled which hasn't happened in a while and we fell asleep in each other's arms.
