Chapter 37

(A/N. Cause I'm ending my book in 3 chapters, I'm gonna fast forward time in all of them. Like 5 years at a time. Okay? Okay.)

~5 years later~ (they are like 10)

•Hayden's POV•
"That's cute Jase!" I said. "Really? I don't like it!" Jase said back. I just turned 11 and today was Jase's birthday. Andy and him were like bff's.

Just then Aunt Grace came in and said "Jase Scott! Hurry your butt up. People are waiting downstairs. Namely your friends!" "Okay okay!" He said and left the shirt on. I had a little crush on Jase. He was really popular and smart and cute and tall. The total package. But dad said I wasn't allowed to date him. Ever.

I wonder why.

I walked downstairs with him in my purple dress mom got me last week. For my birthday. "Hey everyone!" Jase said so nonchalantly. "H-hey!" I said. More like stuttered. Jase was so cool and I was shy and nerdy. Andrew walked up to Jase and gave him our present. It was a phone case. For his phone he was getting for his birthday. It was cool.

•Jase's POV•
When Hayden said that my shirt was cute I was definitely wearing it. Okay so maybe I had a crush on her but I couldn't ever date her. My mom said.

I wonder why?

We started opening presents. If my mom and dad hadn't shoved the present from them in my face I would have opened Andy and Hays present first. I opened it. "Oh my god!" I yelled "an iPhone!" I got really excited.

Now Hayden and I could text. Yes!! I mean me and Andy. Yeah. Me and Andy could text too. But mostly Hayden.

"Sweet! Thanks guys!" I said. Then I got Hayden and Andy's present. A phone case. Oh my gosh they thought of everything. Perfect. After that I got some new shoes, clothes and stuff like that from family. And by family I mean Grandma and Grandpa Wilk, Uncle Skate, and Uncle JJ. Of course the Gilinsky family too. Duh!

~2 hours later~

I was hanging out with Hayden in my room playing on my new phone when she interrupted the comfortable silence by saying "you know, we could text now." She pushed her glasses back up her nose and pushed her hair behind her ear. She was really cute! "Oh! Yeah we can." I said. "Well do you want  my number?" She asked quietly "Yeah. Hang on." I opened up contacts and got ready. I gave her my phone. She put in her number and I put her name as Hayden👑😍.
I really hope she doesn't look at my phone.

•Hayden's POV•

"Hey!" It was Jase. I opened the text and put him in my contacts as Jase❤️😍.
I really hope he doesn't look at my phone!!
