Chapter 19

•Jack's POV•
The caller ID said Grace. I wondered why she wild be calling me. I answered.
J=Jack
G=Grace
J: Hello?
G: Jack! You have to help me!
J: what happened?
G: Matt showed up at the house!
J: okay Grace. Calm down. I can't come help right now. Call Sammy.
G: *crying* I'm just scared Jack!
J: I'm going to call Sammy. Just don't open the door.
G: okay. Thanks.

"Katelyn!" I said. "Oh my God. What?" She asked annoyed. "When Matt got out of jail he went to Grace's house. She is scared. You have to call Sammy." "Oh my fricking God! Okay. Hang on!" Her hands were shaking as she dialed Sammy's number.

•Sammy's POV•
I looked down at my phone which was vibrating. It read Katelyn. So I answered.
K=Katelyn
S=Sammy
S: hello?
K: Sammy! You have to go to Grace's house like right now!
S: Shit! Why what happened?
K: Sierra bailed Matt out of jail and he is at her house. You have to hurry!!
S: okay. I'm going. I'm gonna cal her. Bye Katelyn.
K: bye Sammy! Hurry!

I had already hung up the phone and was dialing Grace's number when I got a text from Jack. "Hurry!" It read. I hit the call button and Grace answered it. The first thing I heard was "Sammy! Hurry!" In a whisper. I sped up. I knew Matt wouldn't hurt Grace but I couldn't stand her being scared and me not being there to protect her. I loved her. "I'm coming baby. I'm coming."
I said. I got to the house and saw Matt banging on the door.  "Yo! Espinosa!" I yelled. He turned around but I didn't see an angry Matt. What I saw was a broken, scared, hurt Matt. "Sammy!" He yelled walking towards me. Well shit! He started to look mad. "Bro! Just back off. Grace is mine now. You put Jack into a coma and Katelyn is never going to talk to you again. You scared the living crap out of Grace banging on the door. Just leave." I said. Matt's face went white. He dropped to his knees and started sobbing. The worst part is... I didn't feel sorry for him. He deserved every emotion he had. He hurt us all. After a minute of him sitting there sobbing, he stood up wiped the tears from his eyes and said: " before I leave everyone alone forever, is Jack okay?" "Yeah. Now just leave. Okay?" I said. He got into his car and drove away. I walked inside to find Grace sitting on the couch crying. "Everything's okay now baby." I said as I sat with her and hugged her. "Everything is okay" she mumbled into my chest.
