Chapter 29

~ 5 months later ~

•Jack's POV•
Today was the final check up on little Hayden and Andrew. Katelyn was 8 and 1/2 months pregnant and very large. You could tell she was about to burst. She laid down and pulled up her shirt. She knew the drill pretty well by now. The nurse put the cool gel on her stomach as I held her hand. Then the nurse swiveled the wand around her stomach to show the babies. They were fully developed now. Just a little small. "Hi Hayden!" Katelyn said as the nurse pointed to the right side of the screen. She pointed to the left side of the screen and I said "and there is little Andrew." We were both such proud parents. Katelyn had been having a lot of heart burn and told the doctors about that. They said that it was just because the babies had so much hair. (It is a real thing)

"Just like their dad" Katelyn had said.

•Katelyn's POV•

Once we got done with the appointment, we drove to my parents house. Well mom and John's house. We had told them about the babies but we hadn't told them the names and genders. Like with everybody else. Only Jack's mom, Katherine, knew about them, Hayden and Andrew.

We arrived at my mom's house. We could tell it was a baby shower because of all of the cars parked outside. We walked in and there were pink and blue streamers everywhere. "SUPRISE!" They all yelled. I giggled and Jack let out a hardy laugh. We walked in. Everybody ran up to us asking what we were going to name them and we said it would be a surprise. We had made cards to mail everyone after the baby shower to tell them the names but we decided on giving them to them now.

The card read "Help us celebrate the birth of our little boy, Andrew, and out little girl, Hayden who are due on the 3rd of June." It was adorable. We cut the cake which was just plain white. Then we opened up the presents. We got things like diapers, baby wipes, bibs, baby bottles, and pacifiers. We got just the necessities because we had already bought all of the other big things like their furniture. We said thank you to everyone and gave them all their cards. They all opened them and everyone started congratulating us about the babies. Soon enough they would be holding them and cooing at them. We were all so ready to have them here. Especially me. I was carrying 2 babies. Sammy walked up to me and Jack. He said "Let's hope that Hayden doesn't fall for Jase. Because that would be Forbidden Love.
