Chapter 11

•Jack's POV•
"Katelyn? Can we talk?" I asked quietly "sure what's going on?" She said sweetly but I could see her eyes studying my body movements. "So Matt?" "Yeah what about him?" She said a little angrily. "He loves you, you know?" "Yes, Jack, I understand that but I love you." "Well I know that you will never admit this and you are going to deny this, but, I know some part of you loves him." I said. My voice cracked at the end. "Jack, I love him as a friend and nothing more than that." She said sincerely before pecking my lips. "Are you sure it's nothing more than that?" I inquired. "Yes, babe. Positive" I softly kissed her nose. "Matt got a girl anyways!" She said with fake enthusiasm. "Really?! Go Espinosa!" "What's her name?" I asked. "I'm not sure." She said looking at the ground. She got up and started walking outside. "Jack, I'm going to go see Matt and talk to him about his girl."

K: Espinosa, I'm coming over.
M: who is this?
K: it's Katelyn
M: um okay.
K: I'm coming over Matt.
M: okay.
K: who actually is this?
M: it's Matt's main girl.
K: okay.

*knock, knock*
"ESPINOSA!" I yelled. I heard the door unlock and saw Matt. "Hey!" He said. "I didn't know you were coming over"
"Oh? Because I was talking to your whatever on your phone."
"Oh" he said. "G!" He yelled "COME HERE"
A beautiful girl walked down the stairs and I almost freaked out. It was Grace. Grace Jolie. We used to be best friends when I lived in LA. Now she's here. "Gracie!!" I screamed and ran to her. "Katie Cake!" She yelled and ran to me. We embraced into a big hug. I turned around to Matt who was grinning like an idiot. I looked him in the eye and said "if you break her heart, I'll break your face. Got me, Espinosa?" I was laughing so hard by the end of my sentence. Grace and I had always said that to boys that we were dating. I was so glad that Grace was here. "So Katie Cake, huh?" Matt snickered. "Only for Gracie Pooh!" Her cheeks got red. I was laughing. "G? Wanna come meet my boyfriend?" I asked "um duh!" She said. "Let's go then slow poke!" I yelled.

•At Jack's house•

"Jack!" I yelled "what? WHAT?" He ran down the stairs in nothing but a towel. Grace just stared. "Jack! Clothes." I said because I knew Grace was staring at his abs and apparent V line. He said "oh! Right! I'm so sorry." And with that he ran upstairs to put some clothes on. "Good job Katie Cake!" Grace said. "G? No more staring! You've got Espinosa to stare at." I said. Jack reappeared down stairs with khaki shorts and a t shirt that said Obey. "Hi. I'm Jack" he said extending his hand. "Grace" she said shaking his hand. Then once she got used to him she did the ritual. She took Jack by the collar and said "break her heart, I'll break your face! Got it?" "Yup. Mhm. Yes ma'am." Jack said. It was hilarious. Grace is back, everything is great. Then there was a knock at the door.
