Chapter 10

•Matt's POV•
I was standing in line at Dairy Queen when this girl walked up to me. She introduced herself as Grace. I said hi and we started talking. She seems really nice. We ended up eating our ice cream together! I asked for her number. She gave it to me but asked to put it in my phone herself. She put it in as Grace❤️💁🏼😘. I didn't change it because I thought she was really pretty and nice. She was almost as nice as Katelyn. I drove her home because she had come with her friends. Once I got home I decided to call Nash first and tell him.
*Dials*
N: Sup?
M: I met this girl named Grace.
N: so are you going to tell me
About her or are you just going to waste minutes?
M: yeah. She has long brown hair and pretty blue eyes. She is skinny and tan. Pretty much the perfect girl. Except one thing.
N: let me guess! She isn't Katelyn.
M: exactly.
N: go talk to Grace to get your mind off of Kate.
M: Aight man. Talk to you later.
N: okay man bye.

M: Hey Grace it's Matt.
G: Hey what's up?
M: nothing really hbu
G: missing you!
M: G we have only known each other for a day.
G: but I really feel special around you.
M: same here G
G: wanna hang tomorrow at my house?
M: um
G: I have a pool🏊🏽
M: what time?
G: lol
G:12 ish?
M: that's fine. See you then.
G: okay Matt goodnight.

12 the next day

"Dang, Grace!" I said. She was wearing a strapless black bikini top with neon pink bottoms that only tied at the sides. Her hair was tied into a messy bun. "Not bad yourself, Espinosa!" She said shaking her head. She was crazy and I liked that. Usually girls wouldn't want their hair wet but Grace, she jumped off of the diving board, did a front flip and cannonballed into the pool. She surfaced and winked "what did you think?" She asked. "Good, but not as good as this!" I ran and did a backflip into the pool. "Yeah?" I said "Yeah!" She replied. She really was awesome. I'm really starting to like her. Today I completely forgot about Katelyn. Until I looked at my phone.

K: where were you?
M: what?
K: we were supposed to meet at Chipotle for lunch.
M: oh my god! I'm so sorry!
K: yeah yeah.
M: for real. I was hanging out with my girlfriend.
K: you got a girl? Go Espinosa!!!
M: yup. At her house now.
K: I'll leave you be.
M: okay. Bye Katie😘
K: Byeee Matty boy! 😂😘
