Chapter 26

•Sammy's POV•
"Mrs. Wilkinson?" A female nurse  questioned. "Yes?" Grace responded. I loved that she had my last name. "Are you ready to find out the gender of your baby?" The nurse said excitedly. "Of course!" Grace said smiling at me. She laid down on the table and pulled up her shirt to show her small baby bump. The nurse rubbed the cold gel on Grace's stomach. My wife giggled at how cold it was. She waved her hand at me signaling me to come over to her so we could look at the ultrasound machine together. The nurse started to search around and found the baby. "Say hello to your mommy and daddy little one!" She said excitedly. She was my favorite nurse by far. Grace just smiled as tears ran down her face. I wiped them away with my thumbs as I cupped her cheeks. "That's our baby!" She whisper yelled. "Can you tell what gender they are?" She asked seeming a little jumpy. We had decided to wear the color of gender we wanted. She wore pink and I wore a neutral because I was fine either way. But I kind of wanted a boy. "Well, let's see" the nurse said. "There is their eyes, nose, and mouth. And there is their little hand. And oh! Look! Well, I hope you wanted a boy! Congratulations!" She said. Grace laughed and smiled. I could tell she was happy. I was excited too. Hi, honey!" She said. "My little boy!" I said "God I hope Gilinsky doesn't have a girl. It would be Forbidden Love." I joked. We got up and left. We were both so excited. As we were leaving we saw Jack and Katelyn walk in. "Hi!" They both greeted us. "Hi!" Grace said back. "It's going to be a boy!" She said. Katelyn hugged her in pure excitement. They were both at the same stage but Kate seemed a little bigger than Grace.

•Jack's POV•

"Okay, Mrs. Gilinsky if you would please lay down on the table." The nurse had said. She was very boring. "Okay!" Katelyn said. Kate laid down and pulled her shirt up to show her rapidly growing baby bump. The nurse repeated the steps that they did every time they did an ultra sound. The nurse searched and found them. "Well, you are having a boy! And a girl! Congratulations!" The nurse said. My mouth just hung open. "Wait. You said a boy and a girl?" I asked. "Yes Mr. Gilinsky. A boy and a girl. Twins!" I looked down at Katelyn who was just staring at the machine in awe. "2 babies!" I said to her. "Yeah. We are going to have a little Jack AND Katelyn" running around she said. With that we got up and left. We were going to wait to tell everyone. But then a thought crept into my mind. "What if Sammy's son likes my baby girl? No. It would be Forbidden Love."
