Lacey's POV:
"Lacey which one do you want?" Jc said pointing at two funny looking phones. They were absolutely huge. Jc had one. I pointed to the silver smaller one. He nodded then walked to find someone. "I still don't understand why I have to pretend not to know Jc." I whispered to Kian who was standing behind me pretending to look for something. "He'll explain later." He whispered back. I nodded then looked around the store. Jc walked over beaconing for me to follow. I did and Kian waited a few seconds before following. "Ok i was you to pick out a case then go stand over by the door." Jc said quickly and quietly. I nodded walking over to a shelf full of cool looking phone cases. There I saw a clear case filled with light blue powder and white and light pink hearts in it. I picked it up and quickly handed it to Jc before standing by the door. As I walked passed Kian he muttered something. "We'll be out in 10 minutes. He's going to set it up for you." I nodded then continued towards the door. The store was one of many in the huge mall. I've never been in such a place. Eventually after waiting for ten minutes, Jc and Kian walked out looked both ways then handed me the phone with the case on it. "All the numbers that you will be needing are in it already all you need is to get your friends number." Jc said. He smiled, "Now we can get you clothes. We have Lyn back at the house designing your bedroom and decorating it." Kian said. I nodded "So let's go shopping." Kian said.

Jc's jeep pulled into the long driveway as Lyn walked out of the house smiling. I'm guessing Kian told her they were home. "I don't like that you spend almost 2,000 dollars on me today. It makes me seem like a spoiled brat. You didn't have to buy me a laptop or a phone." I mumbled. "Oh come on. It's fine." He said. I didn't say anything and grabbed 6 or 7 bags and walked in. Lyn was practically jumping off the walls. "Come on. Let's go to your room!" She exclaimed. I nodded following her up the stairs. She stood in front of my door waiting for Jc an Kian to get up with the rest of the bags. Finally the came upstairs smirking and Lyn decided to open the door. It was beautiful. (Picture on top or on the side) I walked in fully and looked around. "Wow." Was all that left my mouth. I walked up the mini steps to see a bed and a flat screen tv with two bedside tables. I went back into the regular floor and saw two doors next to each other. I opened one to see a walk in closet that would soon be accompanied by my clothes. I shut that door and went to the next one. A bathroom. My own bathroom. I shut the door and hugged Lyn. "Thank you so much." I said, she laughed then hugged back. "We'll let you settle in." Jc said carrying the rest of the bags and setting them on the floor. Lyn went to walk out but turned to me. "I'll show you how to do make up tomorrow." Then walked out without a word. Make up. I didn't buy make up. I pulled out my laptop and opened the box them set it on my desk and plugged it in. Then I started ripping off tags and putting stuff away.

After finishing I climbed up the stairs and laid in my bed. It was comfy, I was playing on my phone. Trying to figure out how to set up social media accounts when my phone dinged. I think that means some one texted me. So I went to the messages app and there was a new chat with Jc☁️

Jc☁️- Dinner just arrived. You coming down?

I thought, I was really comfortable and I was just going to figure out how to work Netflix. But I was a little hungry.

Me: Yeah. But I can't eat that much. I don't want to get sick. I'll be down in 5.

I plugged my phone in and sighed before getting up and fixing my clothes before walking downstairs. "I can't eat that much I don't want to get sick? What is that supposed to mean?" I heard Jc's voice say. "It probably means she was starved at that. Home. If you could even call it that." I hear Lyn's voice speak. I chose this time to walk into the kitchen. I sat down at the table next to Kian. There was a piece of pizza on my plate and a glass of milk. I took a smile bite of the unforgettable substance. "So Lace. How are you enjoying your room?" Lyn asked. I nodded swallowing my food then speaking. "It's nice. But I don't understand what you meant by make up." I said, she exchanges looks with Kian and Jc then looked at me and started speaking. "Make up is something girls put on their face." She says. "Well yeah I know that but I didn't get any." I said. She nodded. "Yeah you did. I bought you some." I nodded looking back down at my half eaten pizza. I took another small bite before drinking some milk. The dinner table was silent. "Some friends are coming over later are you ok with that?" Jc says breaking the silence. I nodded swaddling the last of my pizza and getting up from the table. "I'll be in my room." Was all I said then I exited the kitchen.

Jc's POV:
"So you found her?" Taylor asked smiling. I nodded. "Then where is she?" He asked again. "She's still trying to get comfortable. She's upstairs but I don't want you going to bother her." I said. Kian chuckled before putting his arm over Lyn's shoulder. She pushes his arm off her shoulder gently "I'm going to go check on her." She says heading for the stairs.

Lacey's POV:
My room was silent besides the blow of the fan in the corner. I finally realized how lonely I was. I opened my phone and started going through social media. After being here for almost a day I'm starting to know a lot about social media and the songs to listen to. There was a quiet knock at my door. I got up off of my comfy bed and walked to the door. I opened it to see Lyn standing there. "Hey." I said quietly. "Can I come in?" She asked I nodded moving out of the way then shutting the door when she walked in. "You ok? You've been hiding all night?" She asked. "I don't know." She sighed. "Is there something I can do?" "No it's fine." I said "It's probably because I'm not used to being treated like a human." I said. She nodded "I'll see you in the morning." Lyn said before walking out of my room. I shut the light off and climbed up to my bed climbing under the covers and getting comfortable before closing my eyes and falling into a deep, dreamless sleep.
