Lacey's POV:
I woke up with a warm body next to me, breathing steadily. I shifted and felt him wrap his arms around me pulling me closer to his warm body. "Jonah. Let go." I whispered. He groaned and let me go. I got out of the bed and walked into the bathroom. After brushing my teeth I walked back into Jonah's room and he was laying in his bed on his phone. "So what are we doing today?" I asked, "Well I was gonna meet up with some guys and play basketball so you can come. You know them. Their on the team." He said turning his phone off, I nodded. There was a knock on the door then it opened and Nick was peaking in. "I made breakfast." He said smiling. I looked at Jonah and we raced downstairs.

"How did you become so good at basketball?" Matthew asked trying to shoot a three pointer then missing, "I don't know I guess I don't really believe in failure, because even if you hit the rim and it bounced of and didn't go in. It's still a work in progress." I said. He nodded, "What aren't you good at?" He asked, "I'm not very good at using moves. I guess I just get lucky." I said looking down. "Wait. How old are you?" Matthew asked, "14. Why?" He started laughing. "I'm 16. I think your better than me." I smiled grabbing a ball and shooting a three. "So. Two on two?" Jonah asked Matthew and Dillon. They both nodded. "Half court. Ready go!"

A few days later

Lyn's POV:
I haven't seen Jc in a while, he told me someone hacked his account and shit but I don't know. I tapped the counter infront of me. Lacey has a basketball game tonight, I really want her back home. She's the light in this house, spring break was in 2 weeks and that's when we go to Hawaii. But I don't think she wants to go anymore. Finally I gathered the courage to text Nick.

Me: Can you bring Lacey home tonight? Thank you so much for letting her stay at our house.

Nick Jacobs- No problem. She's a good kid.

I sighed in relief and glanced over at the couch where Jc had plopped himself down. "I told you my account was hacked. I don't know who did it by why the fuck would I talk that way about my sister." He said, "Watch it. Or I'm making Nick take her to his house tonight." I said pointing a finger at him. He crossed his arms and glared at me, "Your such a child! What does Amber even see in you!" I threw my hands in the air and stomped upstairs heading to my bedroom, that I share with Kian.

Lacey's POV:
"Ok. You know your positions. Let's do it. Romans on three. One. Two. Three. ROMANS!" He shouted. I ran to my spot and they did the jump ball. This time there was press. I dribbled the ball waiting for Jonah to make his move. Which he did and I quickly passed it to him and we got in position. "Split!" Jonah shouted.

The crowd cheered. 6 seconds on the clock. 45-45. I went for a three. "Ball!" I shouted, Jonah got the hint shot faked then threw it at me. I didn't think about it. My hands were already placed all I did was bend my knees and jump. The ball went soaring towards the basket. I didn't hear anything at all. My blood pumped through my veins with such adrenaline. All I felt was Jonah pick me up and place me on his shoulders. We have been undefeated so far. I hope to keep it that way.

I stood in front of my house for what felt like hours but in reality had only been a few minutes. Sighing I reached for the nob and turned it making the door squeak a little before it actually opened. I heard footsteps and then Jc took me into a hug and held me there. "I'm so so so so sorry." Was all he said, it was nice to finally now he knew I existed. Then he let go and looked me in the eye, "I'm so sorry, my Twitter was hacked. I found who the hacker was and took care of of it. I also changed my password. Please forgive me." He said, tears were going to fall down his cheek any second. I nodded and looked away, "It's fine." I said and I walked passed him and went to my bedroom. My bedroom was just as I left it besides the missing laptop and chargers. But there was something different that I felt about Jonah's house. I felt wanted.
