“Are you sure you want to wear that?” Dad asked me grudgingly on Saturday night
“Yes, i am sure” I said clomping down the stairs into the kitchen
“Does grace mean nothing to you?” Abby harrumphed from the couch
“Does ‘shut up’ mean nothing to you?” I yelled. She rolled her eyes and turned up the episode of ‘Basketball Wives’ she was watching
“Are you ready? I’ve been ready for an hour now, Ash” Rashad sighed pulling cold macaroni out of the fridge
“Same!” Derek shouted running down the stairs, pushing past me, and grabbing a fork to dig into the macaroni with Rashad.
“You smell like you bathed in cologne” I coughed looking at Derek
“And you smell like you bathed in dog poop” He grinned high fiving Rashad
“And you smell like you bathed in stupid” Abby grumbled tightening her top bun and pushing past the guys to the fridge
“Good one” I laughed
“Who ate your left over pizza?” Derek asked Abby distastefully
“Who ate your left over pizza? Who says that?” I furrowed my eyebrows
“What my, significantly stupid and less attractive, brother meant was ‘what’s wrong with you?’” Rashad sighed
“I just don’t understand why i cant come to the party! I’m old enough, pretty enough and definitely popular enough! Who does Keenan think he is not inviting me?” Abby shrieked
“He doesn’t even know you. Your a freshman” Derek said flicking macaroni at her
“I doubt he knows Ashley”
“True” Derek nodded
“Hey! I was invited to the party as the guest of a guest, therefore i am entitled to go” I rolled my eyes
“Can we get going?” Derek yelled pulling his keys out
“Aren’t you going to put the macaroni away?” I asked Derek
“No” He simply said opening the front door.
