Part 20

Jess awoke and walked into the bathroom she splashed the cold water that dripped out of the left tap onto her face trying to wake herself up after her 2 hour long sleep. She got changed into her uniform and brushed her hair she was too tired to do anything with it so she left it down and didn't bother with makeup.

"Jess!"someone called as she stepped out the front door. She turned round and stared up at the village cab driver.
"Can I help you?"she asked
"You've gotta come with me"he replied.
"I'm alright thanks."Jess snapped walking off.
Darren grabbed hold of her arm causing her to turn round.
"Your mothers been in an accident. She's in A&E."he said a look of shock spread across her face.

"Mum!"Jess called as she ran over to her mothers hospital bed. Jess hugged her mother as she wept on her shoulder. Her daughters face brought back memories from last night which she tried not to think about but this time Sienna couldn't stop them replaying in her mind.

"Sienna, I didn't think you was going to come."Leela said passing her friend a glass of jack Daniels.
"What made you think that?"Sienna joked.
"I love this song!"Leela said grabbing hold of her best friends arm and spinning her round. Sienna smiled and danced with her closest friend.

Time flew by and the pair got close to other people at the bar.
"I think I've got myself a catch her, see you tomorrow."Leela whispered in Sienna's ear and she giggled in response.

Sienna sat alone at the bar, she looked up at the clock on the other idea of the bar it read 11:30pm. she sighed and walked over to the exit hoping to get home quickly she took her heals off and strolled through the village. She stopped and sat on the curb trying not to be sick. She sat there for a few minutes when a dark tall figure approached her. Her mind went blank and before she knew it she was lying in an ally way with blood dripping from her nose.

She looked over at her phone that lay roughly a meter away. It beeped showing that she had another miscall off her 13 year old daughter.

"Sienna."a voice she recognised called. They bent down beside her placing there jacket over her bruised body. "Come on we've got to get you to hospital you could've broken something. What happened?"Darren said helping his ex up of off the floor. "I think they was going to rape me but they ran off when they heard something."Sienna replied getting in to the back of the cab with Darren's aid.

"I'll call Jess and lockie, hopefully he can get a train home tonight and meet you tomorrow."Darren said as he turned the key and started up the engine.
"No don't call Jess she doesn't need to know I need to look after her not the other way round."Sienna said tears falling down her face as she realised what Jess had been trying to do. "She just wanted to help but I pushed her away."she thought.
