"Jikyo!" I heard a voice yell into Jimin and I's room. "Are you planning to party with us?"
New Year's eve. It was the end of 2015. The end of the year it all went down. I lost my parents, and also found my friends. And within the short amount of time I was with my friends, I had finally sorted out my issues with Jimin.
"Yea, I'll come out in a minute." I had been in my room, cleaning up from yesterday, also known as V's birthday. It was glorious. So much had happened. But not as much as I expected to happen tonight.
When I left the room, I was greeted by the smiling face of J-Hope, with V behind him. I grinned back, following them to the other apartment.
"So Jikyo, what kind of alcohol do you drink?" V asked, gesturing to a small table with different wines on it.
"Uh, I'm not old enough to drink yet, and neither is Jungkook." I shook my head at him, informing him that neither of us would drink tonight.
"What's it gonna hurt? You'll be 21 in two months." V reasoned. I felt like I was making a deal with the devil.
"Okay, whatever. If we get in trouble, or Jungkook gets sick or hurt, you're taking care of it." I pointed to him.
He pouted, "Okay, jeez, Mom."
Then J-Hope turned and yelled to Jungkook, "Jungkook, she said you can drink!"
Suga then glanced at me, then to Jimin, "You owe me 10,000 won."
Jimin scoffed, taking money out of his pocket, then leaned across the couch and handed it to Yoongi.
"Wait, what?" I scrunched up my eyebrows.
"Jimin bet that you wouldn't drink or let Jungkook drink because your apparently a stick in the mud." Suga explained, "I claimed you'd give in."
"I am so not a stick in the mud." I frowned at Jimin, turning to V. "Pour me some wine."
Jimin stood up from his seat, taunting me, "Ooo, Ji's breaking the law!"
I glared, taking the glass cup from Taehyung. Looking directly into Jimin's eyes, I took a large swig, which just so happened to burn my throat. I heard V and J-Hope snicker from behind me.
"Ah, what the hell did I just drink?" I partially screamed.
Namjoon got up from his seat as well, and came over to the small alochol set up. He picked up a bottle and inspected it. "White Vodka."
I instantly turned to V and punched his shoulder, "I just took a huge swig of vodka, and you didn't stop me? I'm gonna die!"
"You're not gonna freaking die, Jikyo." Jungkook laughed at me, "Don't think about it too much or you'll hurt your heart."
In that exact moment, I realized I needed to loosen up. I wasn't a stick in the mud, but I guess I wasn't the funnest either.
"Alright, start the music." Suga said, also standing with us. Jin nodded and went to a lap top hooked up in the corner to a large speaker. Immediately, Happiness by Red Velvet started blaring through our apartment.
There was ugly dancing. No, not a one of us danced normally. Namjoon was purely thrashing, and Jin was doing some traffic dance thing. Suga was moving his knees and only his knees, bending them in and out to the tune of Red Velvet.
J-Hope was hopping back and forth on his feet, punching the air with his fists. Jungkook was standing in one place, shrugging his shoulders back and forth. Jimin was doing the most generic disco dancing from the seventies, pointing to the ceiling then down in the opposite direction.
