"Gah! I'm bored!" I complained, flopping on my bed next to my best friend, Lydia. She looked up from her iPod, where she was reading some fanfic about one of the three boy bands we were so fond of.
"Then what do you want to do?" she asked.
"I don't know!" I sighed and rolled onto my back, staring at the ceiling.
"Hey, Michael is on," Lydia told me, getting a notification from twitter.
"Hand me my iPod, I'll spam him," I said. She gave me my iPod, pulling it off of my dock.
I quickly opened the twitter app and started with a simple tweet to the current object of my affections.
@Michael5SOS please follow me?

Thirty minutes later, Michael decided to go to bed and I was without a follow and left to my boredom once again.
"Wanna go swimming?" I asked Lydia.
"Right now?"
"Yerp," I pouted. "Please?"
She sighed but got up, grabbing her swimsuit and going into my closet to change.
I changed into mine, quickly, before Lydia could come out.
"You good?" she called.
"Yeah," I replied, grabbing towels off the floor and throwing one to her.
We tried to hurry out, but my mom called my name.
"Nikki! Can you do the dishwasher before you go swimming?" she asked.
"But mom," I started, but she cut me off.
"Nikki, please, it will take two minutes." I just nodded and did it as quick as I could.
"It took five!" I yelled to my mom as Lydia and I headed outside to the pool. I threw my towel on the clothesline and ran to the pool, immediately going under the water.
Lydia got there a few seconds later, and got in gradually, claiming the water was cold.
"Baby," I teased, floating around. "It's not cold."
"Oh, shut up," she growled playfully, finally getting in.
"Took you long enough," I splashed at her and laughed.
She quickly dived under the water, swimming around me. Grabbing the tube floater, she jumped on, laying on her stomach.
I swam around for a few minutes, letting her gain a sense of trust, before flipping her off of the tube.
We laughed and attempted to see who could stay on the tube the longest.
Eventually, we tired out and just floated around, me on my back and Lydia on the floater.
"I wanna be famous one day," I said randomly.
"Oh? And what are you going to be famous for?" Lydia asked, not looking at me.
"I'm going to be a professional singer, or maybe an actress," I told her.
"And meet the 5SOS boys?" she suggested.
"Of course. I'm going to marry Michael one day, aren't I?" I asked, joking.
"Well, if you do meet them, tell Luke to hit me up," she joked back.
"Oh, I will," I said, seriously.
We floated in silence for a bit before a thought came to my head.
"What would it be like to be them?" I asked, not really asking Lydia, but asking none the less.
"What do you mean?" she looked at me in question, brows furrowing.
"Like, be them. Literally. Like, a body switch," I said, thinking hard now.
"Is that possible?" Lydia sounded a bit shocked.
"Maybe, I mean, I saw a spell for it once online. We could try it," I suggested.
"Like, magic?"
"No. Like witchcraft. Magic isn't real. Wicca is. Like, a nature based witchcraft. Usually for good and natural things, but it has a dark side. I'm pretty sure body switching would be considered bad, but only if you intend it to be. We're just curious, right? We don't want to hurt them, or punish them. So, we should be fine," I explained, having researched Wiccan religion and spells and things before.
"Are you sure about this?" Lydia asked, skeptical.
"Yeah, why not? You don't have to do it, but I want to. How awesome would it be to be one of them for a day, or longer?" I asked, almost dazed at the thought.
"You're serious!?"
"Yes! Now, come on, I wanna try it!" I said, climbing out of the pool.
Lydia followed me, a bit slower, almost reluctant. She obviously didn't like this idea, but really though! How bad could it be?
