I feel like a really bad person for making you wait this log, but I've had a bit of writers block and had to make a filler chapter (which is the next official chapter). But I do have another one almost completely done that goes after that thats a "bonus chapter" in Ashton's POV. :)

I just want to say a MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone if I don't end up updating before then. :)

And without further ado...

CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE!!!

---Luke's POV---

"Today's the day!" Lydia yelled, running into Nikki's room where I was writing down down some lyrics that I had thought up.

"No, that doesn't sound right," I mumbled trying to tie two lines together, but it wasn't perfect.

"Today's the--" she cut herself off and changed direction, "What are you writing?"

I looked up at her quickly and moved so that I was sitting on the notebook I had been writing in.

"Just song lyrics," I told her, nonchalantly, acting as if it was no big deal. I was actually working on a song for her. Hopefully, Michael would help me with the fine details when I was me again. He's a good writer.

"Oh, cool!" she exclaimed. The smile on her face wavered for a second before becoming a full blown, toothy grin.

"Todays's the day," she said, rocking back on her heels a bit, before rolling forward again. She repeated the action over and over. (did you see what I did there? ;) lol. Over And Over is another 5sos song.)

A confused look settled on my face, while I stared at her.

"What's today?" I asked, fidgeting a bit.

"Luuuuuke..." she whined. "Today's the first LA show."

I literally facepalmed myself. How could I forget? This was a big deal! Mine and Nikki's futures depended on this.

"Are you serious? I can't believe I forgot," I told her. I rubbed at my forehead while talking because facepalming yourself actually hurts...

"I know," she giggled. "But we have to talk to Nikki before they have to do the concert."

"Okay. Text her and tell her to Skype us if she can. I want to work on these lyrics a bit more, so I'll be there in a few," I said, pulling the notebook out, but making sure to not let her get a look at the words I had written down so far.

"Alrighty then," she grinned and left the room to text her best friend.

I brought my pencil to my lips and just chewed on the end of it while I thought of possible arrangements for the words I had down so that they sounded perfect. It was a love song, kind of. But it was for Lydia. And Nikki, if Michael helped, which he probably would. So, I shouldn't add defining things like hair or eye color. They were both short-ish, but I knew that Lydia hated her vertically-challenged height.

It took me around fifteen minutes to get something that I really liked.

I read it aloud, softly so that I couldn't be overheard, to myself.

"But you are everything I want

And everything I need

It's all because of you

I could barely breathe

Whenever you wake up in the morning,

It's a brighter day
