CHAPTER FIFTEEN!! :D

---Luke's POV---
"I have pizza!" Nikki's mom yelled. Lydia and I shared a glance, before standing up and racing towards the kitchen.
"I win!" I yelled, reaching the counter a few seconds before she did.
"Yeah, but I get pizza first!" she exclaimed, grabbing a plate and a few slices of pizza. I pouted at her and mimicked her actions, piling four slices on my plate.
"Boys..." Lydia mumbled, shaking her head as she glanced at my plate.
"What? I'm hungry," I defended myself, my stomach rumbling to confirm my statement. We sat and I attacked the pizza with so much force that I could have been mistaken for an animal.
Unfortunately, being in Nikki's body, I could only eat four pieces without becoming uncomfortably full.
I lay back, content, as Lydia looked at me as if I was a crazy person.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," she replied quickly, shaking her head and returning to her pizza.
I sighed and my eyes closed almost of their own accord.
"She sleeps, alone. My heart wants to come home. I wish I was, I wish I was, beside you." I sang quietly.
"You sing with an accent," Lydia said. I opened my eyed to look at her.
"What?"
"Being Nikki, you talk in an American accent, but your Aussie accent comes out when you sing. It's kind of cool," she said, smiling.
"Huh," I said. "That's weird, but yeah, it's still kind of cool."
Lydia smiled at me, finishing the last of her pizza.
A though hit me.
"Hey, why aren't we in school?" I asked Lydia, confused.
"It's summer break. We get three months off of school before we have to go back. We're about a month in now, so we still have two more," Lydia explained.
"Oh, okay. Where are we anyway?"
"What?"
"Like what state are we in?" I asked.
"Oh! Uh, We're in California," she said.
"What part of California?" I knew we had a few shows in LA, so the band would be close soon.
"Just outside Los Angeles. Like 15 to 20 minute drive away from the city," she told me.
"That's good, then," I said, smiling wide.
"Why?" She got up, grabbing her plate, and I followed.
"Because we have a few shows in LA, starting August 3rd. What's today?" I said, putting my plate in the dishwasher.
"July 8th. We have a month until then..." she trailed.
"A month!?"
"...yeah."
"I'm going to be stuck in Nikki's body for a month!?" Lydia just nodded.
"Speaking of... Shouldn't we start getting Mrs. Carsons to listen to your music?" she asked.
"Oh, yeah," I said. The phone in my pocket vibrated, signaling a text message. I pulled it out to see that the number was Michael. The text was the recording for our new song, Try Hard. I'd have to listen to it later.
"We can play it on the TV, so it will blast through the house," Lydia suggested.
"Okay," I agreed, smiling again.
"Leggo!" she yelled, running off into the living room and turning on the TV. She set it up so Beside You was playing, saying that as I had sang a bit of it, it had gotten stuck in her head.
As soon as the song started, I sang with it, singing to Lydia, serenading her.
"Who's this?" Nikki's mom asked, walking in. "They're really good."
Lydia an I shared a look, before she answered.
"5SOS."
"What?" Mrs. Carsons asked.
"5 Seconds of Summer, or 5SOS," I told her. "They're Australian."
"Oh, really? Are they signed, yet?" she asked.
"Nope," I replied, smiling. "And they're gonna be in LA in August. They're opening for One Direction on their tour."
"I might just have to go meet them..." she trailed, thinking. "Do they have any other stuff?"
"Yeah! Turn on Heartbreak Girl, Lyd."
"On it!" She changed the song and the beginning notes of Heartbreak Girl started playing.
"So, tell me, who's who?" Nikki's mom asked, when a picture of me and the other boys came up.
"This one is Ashton," Lydia said, pointing to the tall, curly-haired, blonde. "He's the drummer. Calum is the Asian looking one." She pointed to the black haired boy. "But he's really Kiwi. He's the bass guitarist and does lead vocals with Luke." She pointed to me. "He also does rhythm guitar. Michael is the one with white hair." She pointed to him. "He's the lead guitarist and he does backing vocals and occasionally sings solo parts."
"And being fangirls, do you have favorites?" Mrs. Carsons asked suggestively.
"Lydia likes Luke," I told her, shooting Lydia a quick wink.
"And Nikki likes Michael," Lydia said.
"I should have known," Mrs. Carsons replied. "My girl has always liked the weird guys." She gave me a smile.
"They aren't weird," I defended, crossing my arms and pouting sarcastically.
She just laughed and ruffled my hair.
"I'm off to bed, girls. It's already 8pm. And I have to get up early for a meeting at 6. Don't stay up too late. And please turn the TV down if you are still going to listen to those boys." She gave us a wave, blew me a kiss and went off to bed.
"You want to stay up? Or head to bed, too?" Lydia asked.
"I don't know about bed, but we could watch TV and just cuddle till we fall asleep..." I trailed.
"Okay," Lydia agreed, smiling. She threw me the remote, and sat on the couch. I laid down and she moved so she was laying next to me, against my chest.
"Any requests?" I asked, flipping through the channels.
"Cartoons?"
We settled on Adventure Time, and I threw a blanket, which was draped over the back of the couch, over us. We curled up and Lydia was out in no time as I hummed to her.
"Goodnight," I whispered, kissing the top of her head, as I fell asleep...beside her.
