*imagine Chris, your best friend confessing his love to you after you broke up with your boyfriend*

"I can't believe he cheated on me" you cried into your best friends shoulder. "I can't believe I actually thought h..he loved me" you sobbed.

Chris rubbed your back. "Please don't cry" he said quietly. "He's not worth crying over" he added.

You sniffed and looked up to him. "I will never be truly loved" you cried again. "There will be someone" he smiled sadly.

"You really think so?" You sniffed again. He nodded. "Yep" you smiled and hugged him.

He hugged you back. "Hey how about if we watch all of your favorite movies, and eat junk food" he suggested with a smile.

You laughed softly "that sounds perfect" he grinned, jumped up from the couch and ran to the kitchen.

He then came back with chips, chocolates, pretzels with white fudge, sodas, and popcorn. You laughed at the sight of him struggling to hold everything.

He placed everything on the table in font of you. He then put in a movie and grabbed a blanket. You got popcorn and he sat next to you as he covered you with the blanket.

"Thanks Chris" you smiled. "No problem" he grinned. The movie played and you payed attention but Chris on the hand, he only kept on glancing over to you.

"Chris the movie is playing over there" you looked at him with a laugh. He blushed and quickly looked at the Tv.

"Hey look it's raining!" You pointed at the window. "Want to go out and play in the rain?" He smirked. "You know me so well" you laughed and got up.

Both of you ran out. You giggled as the warm rain fell onto your face and body. Chris laughed as he arched his neck upward and closed his eyes.

"Ah this feels good" you said as you ran around. He laughed and followed you. Both of you ran to a small park that was close to your apartment.

You and Chris ran and played around. You fell to the ground, taking Chris with you.

You giggled "oops" he laughed "it's alright" he looked at you. He moved a strand of your hair and locked eyes with you. "I love you" he said quietly. Your eyes went slightly wide.

"Y..you do?" You asked, he nodded.

"Yes I do, and very much" he smiled. Your mouth twitched into a grin. "M..me too, I'm so stupid for not realizing, until now"

He grinned and gave you a soft kiss. You smiled and kissed back. He cupped your cheek to deepen the kiss. After a couple of minutes he pulled away slowly.

"Wow I have been waiting for the longest time to do that" he smiled and laid next to you. You giggled. "We should go inside" he nodded. "Yeah we should"

He got up and helped you up. "Thanks"

"No problem" he replied as he wrapped his arm around your waist and gave you a kiss on your cheek.
