I was surprised when I walked into the room I suppose was my tutor room. The school basically followed the same timetable as my old school so I knew it would be a subject classroom of some sort but my old tutor room had been tiny. This room was huge. Judging by the display boards Id go with a history classroom but half the room had desks and normal chairs but the other end had loads of computers with swivly chairs. sweet. I thought.

'Ok dear, your tutor will be here in a few, she knows you're here so take a seat and she'll talk to you when she gets here.' the lady from reception said before swiftly leaving the classroom.

Great I had no idea what to do, it seemed like pretty much the whole class was here. There were a group of boys sat at the back of the class being completely immature and throwing around glue sticks and bouncy balls at each other. To be honest though, it looked like fun. There were others just spread about in little groups talking to each other quietly, all looking rather tired.

I sat down in a chair at the front of the class and pulled out my phone to text Brad when a girl spoke up on front of me. 'Hi! I'm Emma' I looked up. She was stunning, she had curly brown hair and dark brown eyes. 'you're new right? Wait.. I mean, I know you're new but.. Oh god.. Yeah I'm just...wanna come and sit with us?' She said motioning over to another girl sat over on another table smiling at me.

'yeah sure.' I smiled at her and put my phone back.

Emma and Ellie were lovely, they were just like me and I was glad that someone was going to accept me.

We sat chatting for a few minutes and they pretty much told me about everyone in the class, the weirdo's the popular kids, the really good looking ones.

'And that's Jaime over there' Ellie said pointing to a boy with black hair all stood up as if he'd been electrocuted. 'He's absolutely hilarious, he's so weird but so funny, god knows how he has friends.' She laughed before our tutor walked into the room and everyone came to sit down.

Our tutor, Miss Taylor, introduced me tithe class after taking the register. She asked what lesson I had first and then asked who else had the same lesson as me. A few hands flew up including Emma's so she happily walked me to my first lesson. Maths.

Not gunna lie, I'm pretty keen at maths, it had always been my best subject so I was happy when Emma told me I was in top set.

There was only one spare seat in the class right next to Jaime. I asked Emma why the only seat was next to him and she just said that they had a seating plan and the kid he sat next to had been moved down a set. I hoped it wasn't because of me. Nevertheless I waited for the teacher to arrive and he told me to go and sit in the spare seat.

'Hi.' I smiled at him sitting down trying to be polite.

'Hey, I'm Jaime. He replied smiling too. Aw he was cute.

'Nina.' was all I said back.

'Sweet.' he said.

I wasn't expecting him to be nice. Emma had said that everybody loved him and I really wasn't expecting him to be nice to someone new like me.

We pretty much chatted in between work for the rest of the lesson. Jaime seemed cool and he wasn't afraid to be his weird self which was cool.

'What lesson you got now?' He asked as we packed away our stuff.

'Umm, science with Mr Jones.' I said checking my timetable.

'Ahh sound. Same, I'll walk you there.' He grinned down showing his perfectly straight teeth.

Just as I was walking out the classroom I caught Emma's eye. She have me a huge smile and a thumbs up looking backwards and forward from Jaime to Me. Apparently, Jaime was one of the most popular kids in the school.
