~~Nina's P.O.V~~
It had been 2 weeks since Vic had driven me up the hill and I had had the best evening of my life.
I told Emma and Ellie of Vic trying again but me stopping him. They said I should tell him and I knew I should but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I was embarrassed. Vic had since tried again a few days later but I had stopped him again. He was fine with it so I guess he assumed it was just because I was on my period or something.
Today was Saturday and Vic was coming over to mine for dinner and to meet my parents. Christ I was nervous. I had told Vic that as long as he was polite and looked people in the eye when talking, my parents would like him. I had no doubt that he could do that.
'Hello Mr and Mrs Gallagher.' Vic said entering the kitchen behind me with his hands on my shoulder gently massaging them. 'Im Vic.' he smiled. Damn he was charming.
'Please call me Debbie.' Mum said back.
'Please, Andrew' Said dad holding out his hand for Vic. He let go of my shoulder to reach forward and shake his hand.
'Dinner will be ready in 10 but I'll call you.' Mum said and then let Vic and I leave the kitchen.
'Your patents are lovely Neen, I don't know why you're so worried.' Vic said pulling me onto the sofa.
'You should hear them, always telling me I don't need a boyfriend or that I'm too young or something like that.'
'Hey that's just what parents do! I'm sure mine think the same.'
'At least they don't voice it to you.'
'Hush Nina, I'll be as charming an polite as I possibly can be, not for your parents, for you!' Vic assured me.
A few minutes later mum called in to tell us dinner was ready. God this was going to be bad and awkward and embarrassing.
I sat down waiting do the awkwardness to arrive but if there is one thing my mum is brilliant at, it's small talk. She chatted away the whole time and Vic was as charming as he said he would be, looking her in the eye when talking and answering fully each time and laughing and smiling. He talked to my dad about cricket an to my mum about school. I hardly managed to get in a word, Vic and my Mum were such chatterboxes! When we had finally finished and Vic and I had been excused from the table mum told us that she and my dad were going to they friends tonight but Vic was welcome to stay as long as he wanted and or they could always give him a lift back when they were going.
'Oh no thank you, I bought my car.' Vic had said and that just started a whole new conversation on driving. I was starting to think Vic liked my mum more than he liked me.
'Bye darling, bye Vic, lovely meeting you.' Mum said looking at both of us before her and dad left the house to go out. I flomped down onto the sofa and let out a huge sigh of relief. 'Reckon they liked you.' I told Vic.
'Really? Oh good. Couldn't have the parents of my favourite person not liking me could I?' He teased.
'What do you wanna do?' I asked closing my eyes and lying back on the sofa relaxing.
'I have a few ideas.' Vic raised his eyebrows up and down again once as one side of his face pulled into a smile. I sat up and leaned in really close to him.
'Oh yeah.' I whispered into his ear. 'Like what?' My expression mimicked his.
He leaned close to my ear and very quietly spoke so that anyone else had been in the room they wouldn't have been able to hear. 'Like..' He ran his hand up my bare arm making me shiver. 'play cluedo!' He quickly pulled right away from me so I couldn't hit him
