Chapter 10

~~Vic's P.O.V~~

It had been almost a week since I told Nina how I felt about her and it had been the best week of my life. I was so happy.

I knew Nina was getting a bit of stick from some of the girls telling her how she 'didn't deserve me' bullshit. I didn't deserve her! She just took it within her stride and ignored it now. She had come running to me after school two days after almost in tears at the hate she was getting but I just took her hand lead her to the park, sat holding her and told her how brilliant she was and that she definitely did deserve me and everyone was just jealous of how perfect she was. The main problem was Rhi, she wouldn't let it go, every time she saw me she would just come bounding over as if we had never broken up. No matter how many times I told her to just leave me the fuck alone, her think brain wouldn't get it. I couldn't do anything about it so I told Nina that of she ever, ever saw me with Rhi, it meant absolutely nothing to me.

~~Nina's P.O.V~~

The past week had been amazing. Well, most of it, I'd been really down and doubting Vic's feelings for me because of how much stick I was getting from a few girls but Vic had been really sweet and taken me to the park and reassured me of his feelings.

I was especially happy because today we had Music and for the first time, we were doing practical and not theory.

I walked into class and instantly looked for Vic but when I looked over he was sat by Rhi. I felt my blood boil but I stayed calm and went over to sit by Tony who was sat at the front as usual. I hadn't spoken to him much in the last week so I thought now would be a good time seeing as Vic was otherwise occupied.

'Hey.' I said a little downhearted as I sat down.

'Whats up?' Tony asked sensing my sadness straight away.

'Hah, take a guess.' I said nudging my head towards Vic and Rhi.

'Oh.' Tony said understanding.

'But it's fine, I've got youuu' I said to Tony laughing.

'You sure havee.' He smiled back as the teacher walked in and slammed down some books to get our attention.

'RIGHT! Today as you know we're doing practical! I want you all to get into pairs or work by yourself, no threes please, and come up with a performance, practice rooms are all free. if anyone is ready by the end of today we might see some performances if not we'll see a few next lesson, don't go over board though, it's not an assessment, just a bit of fun to start the practical! OH AND NO INAPPROPRIATE SONGS PLEASE' He shouted as people started to chat and disperse into practice rooms.

Tony sighed looking down at the table, he looked sad.

'Hey Tone, you alright?' I asked quietly so no one would hear.

'Yeah fine it's just I usually work by myself and it's really boring.' He said getting up to go look for a practice room.

'Um hello? I'll work with you?' I said like it was the most obvious thing.

'Really!' he asked looking somewhat shocked. 'W-what about Vic?'

'Oh, um, well he won't mind, he'll probably go with Rhi anyway' I said not bothering to turn and look in his direction.

It was nice to be able to chat freely with Tony without him being nervous or anything, he was hilarious but really kind and caring too.

Turns out Tony was absolutely amazing at guitar so we decided to play sleepwalking by Bring Me The Horizon seeing as I already kinda knew the piano part. We weren't completely finished by the end of the lesson so I asked Tony if he wanted to come round to mine later so we could finish it off seeing as I had a piano and he didn't.

'Umm I'm not sure.' he responded.

'Oh come on Tony! You don't even have to talk to my parents or anything, they're in Cambridge for two days.' I said trying to convince him. I wanted to spend more time with Tony.

'umm ok.' Tony said. That put a smile on both of our faces.

~~Vic's P.O.V~~

'NO INAPPROPRIATE SONGS PLEASE.' Mr Parry shouted over everyone scrambling about to find a pair.

I looked round to find Nina but she was sat laughing with Tony so I guessed they were going together. I was kinda sad actually, we had both said we would teach each other guitar and piano but neither of us had even heard each other play and I thought music lessons was where we could do that and spend more time together in school. I sighed and turned around a little half heatedly, maybe it was because Rhi had shoved her way next to me. I knew Nina had a problem with her.

'Hey Hime, wanna go with me?'

'Oh Vic, I thought you'd never ask.' He replied in a dramatic tone holding out his hand acting as if I'd asked him on a freaking date.

'Sound bro, let's get a practice room.'
