~~Vic's P.O.V~~

I woke up a bit groggy and rolled over in bed. I pulled my pillow a bit closer and smiled but then I suddenly remembered last night. I shot straight up so I was sitting and looked around but Nina wasn't there. Ah fuck.

Just before I had gone to sleep I had whispered to Nina that I loved her too and I kinda hoped she was asleep and didn't hear it because I was quite embarrassed. I know I shouldn't be but I've never told any girl I love her before, I always played a little bit hard to get but then Nina just waltzed into my life and got rid of all the barriers I had built up concerning that area.

I looked around and thank fully spotted Nina's stuff still in my bedroom so I guess she hasn't left yet. I got up and pulled some skinny jeans on to go and find Nina, I would've gone in my boxers if Mike wasn't in the house. I knew what he was like, he would probably assume the wrong thing.

I walked out of my bedroom and heard a faint chatting coming from the kitchen, that was weird, my parents weren't in, or at least I hoped not. As I got closer I smelt cooking. Shit, they'd probably got home and ambushed Nina and forced her into talking at breakfast with them but when I opened the door I was astonished. Mike, yes, Michael Fuentes, my younger brother was standing over by the oven cooking breakfast for Nina who was sat on the kitchen counter next to him, giving him instructions on what to do every now and again. I stood in the doorway open mouthed for a while, still astonished that Mike was actually cooking when Nina spotted me standing there.

'Oh, morning Vic.' She said happily, she was still in her pyjama's. 'Mike was just cooking breakfast for us.' She smiled.

'err...you're letting Mike cook? I wouldn't trust him, I don't think he's ever cooked before in his life.' I said deadly seriously with wide eyes and a straight face.

'Hey come on, everyone has to start somewhere!' Mike said spinning and glaring at me. He was 15 almost 16 but he was pretty grown up and could easily have been in mine and Nina's year.

'Exactly Vic.' Nina said backing Mike up. 'Mike and I were just talking about you.' she crinkled her nose and grinned at me.

'Oh yeah, what about me?' I smiled back taking a seat at the table.

'Just how annoying, irritating, stupid and ugly you are, not much.' Mike said tuning and giving me a wicked grin.

'Oh, glad you two think so much of me.'

'We're kidding Victor Fuentes, we were just talking about how good at guitar you are and you sing? You never told me that Mike was saying how you and him play drums and guitar together, I said you should start a band one day, get a bassist and another guitar player and you're all set.' She suggested hopping down off the counter and walking over to sit opposite me. She leaned back and swung her feet into my lap.

Hmm didn't sound like a bad idea.

A few minutes later Mike and had made us bacon sandwiches with sausages, hash browns and beans. All he had was a bacon sandwich though and he excused himself to go and watch TV in his room.

'What the hell got into him?' I asked when he had left Nina and I alone.

'Dunno, I wanted to see your house and I didn't want to wake you so I got up and he found me wondering around and asked if I wanted breakfast so I said yes and he said it. Lovely guy.'
