~~Nina's P.O.V~~
The day went unbelievably slowly, it was hell. All my lessons were so boring an it was all just introduction to the new school year work. This year was going to be a tough year but it was my final and for that I was so thankful.
I hadn't seen Jaime again, I had looked for him at break but I couldn't find him. I needed to speak to him!
It eventually reached lunchtime and knew that I now had to go and face Miss Derek as well as go and sit in the same room as Vic practically alone for half an hour.
I knocked quietly on the door.
'Come in Nina.' I head from the other side and I walked in slowly up to her. She motioned for me to take the seat by her desk. 'Nina, If you're finding things difficult at the moment, there are always people you can talk to, whether that me me, your tutor or any other teacher. We would all be happy to help.'
How awkward.
'Thank you madam but I'm fine I just got a but caught up this morning.' I said.
'Ok well get your book and a text book and do questions 1-6 on page 147, they're on glaciers and the work we did in lesson today.' I took the books and walked over to a desk.
I had just finished question 1 when Vic walked in. Technically he wasn't late because we didn't actually have to be here until half past but i got here early so I could finish quicker.
Miss Derek told him to do the same task as me and he came and sat down on the desk in front of me. I felt more comfortable with him being there than behind me where he could stare at me and I wouldn't know.
It had been 10 minutes of silence when Miss Derek announced that she had to leave and go to a meeting but she trusted us to get the work done and leave when we finished. We continued to sit in silence for another 10 minutes. It was extremely awkward.
I was just getting on to the last question when my pen ran out of ink. I searched around in my pencil case but couldn't find one. 'Shit' I muttered under my breath.
'Do you need a pen?' Vic turned around and looked at me sadly. His words surprised me, I had almost forgotten her was there.
'Oh, er yes please.' I smiled at him.
I saw him tense up at my words but he handed my a pen nevertheless. I could've sworn I saw his eyes watering up a bit.
'Thank you.' I said quietly trying to be polite.
'You're welcome.' He said turning around and finishing his own work.
I finished in the next five minutes so I packed my stuff away ready to leave. I put the pen back on Vic's table as I left.
'Thanks again Vic.' I said looking down at him.
'Its just a pen.' He replied.
'I know..but still.' He looked up at me and I felt as if his eyes bore straight through me. He looked so distant and I couldn't help but feel bad.
~~Vic's P.O.V~~
I looked straight up into Nina's beautiful eyes. I remembered them so well and when I looked it was as if I could see our whole past in them all at once. She broke contact and left the room.

I got home and ran straight up to my room. Today had been hell. I thought it would be fine seeing Nina again after everything Tony had said and after I had been doing so well in the past week but there was just something about her. Something so special that I just couldn't get my mind off. I went to bed crying again that night.
