Chapter 14

~~Vic's P.O.V~~

I walked away from Nina's house in the pouring rain. How could she have done that to me? After telling me that she and Tony were only friends. It had only been a week, was she that unhappy already. It made me sick. I started to run. I had caught them clear as day, Nina was flustered, Tony was shirtless and Nina was wearing his shirt which meant she must have been topless as well.

My heart shattered into a thousand pieces when Tony walked into my sight.

I didn't know what to do, I didn't know where to go. I didn't even know what to think right now. I walked to the park and sat on a bench for a while but being there reminded me of Nina. I didn't want to go home so instead I went round to Jaime's to see if he was in.

'Vic dude, what are you doing out in the rain? Come in man!' Jaime said finding me sopping from the rain on his doorstep.

'She cheated on me.' i said bluntly when Jaime had shut his bedroom door.

'Shit man, are you sure? I bet there is a misunderstanding. Who would cheat on you Vic? I certainly wouldn't!' Jaime said joking but I wasn't in the mood.

'I caught them Hime.' a tear fell down my cheek as I sat on his bed.

'What!? How!' he asked. Bless him, Jaime wasn't really the one for sensitivity but that's why I liked him. He got to the point.

'Knocked on her door, she was flustered, he walked in topless and she was wearing his top.' I explain, I didn't want to go into too much detail, I would just start crying again. 'It's only been a week. How could she be that unhappy already.'

'Who was she with?' Jaime asked quietly sitting down on his bed next to me.

'T-Tony.' I said quietly before breaking down into tears once again.

'Aw Vic man, that's sucks ok but you don't need her yeah?' Jaime said trying to comfort me.

'You don't understand Hime' I started trying to find the words. 'She was... She was perfect. She was funny, caring, intelligent, sporty, musical, beautiful and wasn't afraid to be herself in front of me. I-i- thought she was perfect. Thought that she was different and wasn't like that, she was so genuine.' 

And also' i said while i was talking. 'It's not even like she was slutty when we were going out either, we've only kissed and stuff because it had only been a week and she said she didn't want to rush into things, which i respected and now she's gone and done ...that' I cried practically letting my heart out. I'd never cried over any girl before. Ever. None of them ever meant anything to me but Nina was different, she was special and it pained me to think that I had now lost her.

'Vic mate, if I were gay, or a girl, I would never ever cheat on you, you're a fucking hound and she's an idiot for doing that. You don't need her ok? Wanna bunk here tonight?' Jaime asked me trying to made me feel better and I have to admit, I almost cracked a smile. Almost.

'Nah, can't, have to get home but thanks Hime, means a lot to me. I better go now actually, I just wanted to talk to someone so thanks Jaime.' I gave him a week smile and started to walk down to his front door.

I eventually reached home. Mum and dads car weren't there meaning they weren't home thank god. I slammed the door and walked up to my room, a few years still escaping when I heard Mike call out from behind me.

'Yo Vic!' I ignored him but he saw my tears.

'woah dude wassup?' He asked concerned. As much as I hated Mike sometimes, he was a great brother but right now I didn't feel like talking.

'Nothing' I grumbled climbing the stairs up to my room.

'Please tell me'

'No, fuck off Mike'

'Christ I was only trying to be nice.'

'NINA CHEATED ON ME OK? GOT IT?' I screamed at him before I slammed my door shut.

I sat on my bed for god knows how long, I wasn't really aware of the time but a short while later I heard a small knocking at my door.

'What?' I mumbled knowing it was Mike.

'Look, I'm not gunna ask anything about it but I want you to know that it's her loss and she's stupid for letting you go.' He said sitting down on my bed next to me.

'Cheers Mike.' See, he's a good brother. I ruffled his hair.

'Ok Vic, I'm gunna go play drums, see ya later bro.' He left my room shutting the door quietly behind him.
