Chapter 15

~~Nina's P.O.V~~

I rang Vic over and over again but he wouldn't answer my calls. I was absolutely distraught and hadn't stopped crying. I didn't want to go over to Vic's house in case his parents were in but he wasn't, that would be bad, so instead I rang Jaime because I needed to talk to someone.

'Hello?' Jaime never looked at the caller ID he just shoved the phone to his ear.

'Hey Jaime it's Nina.' I waited for a response.

'Oh, what do you want?' He asked impatiently. Guess he'd heard that I had apparently 'cheated' on Vic then.

'Do you know where Vic is?' I questioned.

'Why would you care you slut.'

Ouch.

'Oh for christ sake, Jaime I'm coming to your house we need to talk.'

'I don't wanna talk to you.' He replied bluntly.

'Too bad.' I said and put down the phone.

10 minutes later and I was outside his house, I gave a quick knock on his door and waited. Well he clearly wasn't in a rush to speak to me. Finally the door opened but Jaime just stood cross armed in the doorway looking very unimpressed.

'What the hell do you want Nina, you broke Vic's heart you know, he was round here not 20 minutes ago crying his eyes out, how could you be such a bitch towards him. So many girls would've loved to be in your situation and that's how you decide to play it? Especially with Ton-

I couldn't take it anymore.

'I DIDN'T CHEAT ON HIM FOR FUCKS SAKE'

'Huh yeah, course you'd say that, that's what everyone says.'

'Look, please Jaime if you let me explain because nobody is giving me the chance and it's fucking frustrating because I don't want people thinking that about me and believe it or not, I wouldn't cheat on Vic, I'm not that sort of person so please just let me fucking explain!' He had tried to interrupt in the middle of that but I didn't let him, I was tired of not being able to explain. Jaime sighed and stepped aside so I could get into his house. I followed him up to his room so we could talk in private.

'Right, before I start, please just listen and let me tell you everything and don't interrupt. Please Jaime.' I said looking at him. He nodded.

'go ahead.'

'Right so Tony came over to mine earlier and Vic knew that. Vic and I had argued at lunch and in my anger I told him that Tony was coming over to my house but it was just as a friend thing because he doesn't have any friends and anyway, the reason I invited him over was to practice our music. So Tony came around to mine and as said we practiced our piece but we finished and i didn't wanna kick Tony out because that would be rude.'

Jaime started to speak but I cut him off again.

'Do you remember when we first met Jaime?'

He nodded.

'and you told me that Tony had wicked tattoos? Well I have tattoos too so I asked to see his. He was reluctant so I said if he showed me his tattoos I would show him mine and eventually he agreed. Now I have a tattoo here and here' I said pointing to the two places 'And so to make life easier i just look my top off, i know, I know, I shouldn't have, but I did and anyway I had a bra on and in no way do I think of Tony in anyway other than a friend.' This was going well so I carried on. 'And then Tony took off his t-shirt to show me his tattoos. When he reached to put it back on though I pulled it away and ran around the house with it because it was funny how self conscious he was and he needed a bit of confidence anyway, that's when the door rang, so i put on his t-shirt to answer the door so I wasn't just in my bra and you probably know the rest.' I finished letting out a huge sigh.

Jaime looked at me.

'Jaime?' I asked.

'Yes'

'Do you believe me because it's the honest truth and I can neither do nor say anything more other than that and it upsets me that you may not believe me and I hate it.' I started to cry again, there was one more thing I could say. 'and Jaime' I said getting up to leave his room. 'I want you to know that I-i i think I'm in love with Vic. I've only ever cried over one boy before and I was stupidly in love with him but that was ages ago, and now, now it's just Vic.' I opened his bedroom door and started to walk out.

'Wait' Jaime said quietly. I stopped but didn't turn around I just stood in his doorframe. 'I believe you.' I turned around and he could see the tears in my eyes and rolling down my cheeks. He walked over to me and I rested my head on his chest as I cried my eyes out. 'I believe you, I believe you, of course I do Nina, of course.' He said over and over trying to comfort me.

'Jaime I need to find Vic, I need to explain.' I said pulling away. 'he won't answer my calls and I doubt he'd even open his door for me, anyway, I don't know where he lives.'

'hmm, how about I get him back over here somehow and I'll lock you both in my room until you've sorted it out?'

'Sounds good..oh Jaime, what I'd he doesn't believe me?'

'He has too and if he doesn't, I'll knock some sense into him.'

'Thank you so much Hime, I cannot express my gratitude.'

'Hey don't worry about it, anything for you and Vic.' He said walking over to get his phone to give Vic a call.
