Draw the Shades and Close the Door (a Vic Fuentes Fanfic)

Chapter 5

Now I wasn't like super strong or anything but I had been horse riding for 10 years, played hockey for 8, had done some weight training with my brother when we were just joking around and had fought with him quite a lot so I definitely wasn't weak.

I waltzed straight up to Tony, stood and stood in front of him facing the guy who had hit him. By now there were a lot of people staring. I didn't care though. I turned around to see Vic staring opened mouthed at me, looking completely shocked. Well guess he was about to find out more about me now.

'Hey beautiful.' The kid who hit Tony winked at me, clearly unaware to why I was actually there. He was really slimy looking and his comment just made me shiver. He began to take a step towards me but before he could put his foot down I pulled my arms backwards and then let it lurch forwards straight into his face. His face flicked to the size and he spat out blood before turning back to look at me with a vicious look in his eyes. I pulled back my arm and shook out my hands. Damn that hurt.

It suddenly struck me what I had just done. I'd never hit anyone properly before and I had just stuck up for the loser of the school and punched probably one of the coolest kids in the face. I turned around and noone was. Everyone just stood open mouthed staring at the 3 of us; Me, Tony and Bully. I looked round to where Vic had been standing only to find him not there. Dammit Nina, well done, you probably just punched his best friend or something, course he's not going to just stand and watch.

I didn't know what to do, I knew what was coming my way, this guy didn't seem like the sort who wouldn't punch someone just because they were a girl especially one who had just punched him in the face. He pulled back his hand an I just closed my eyes, this was the part where I normally ran away where George and I were fighting but I couldn't do that here. I was just getting ready or the pain to run through my body when It never arrived. Instead I heard a slight shuffling around me and then rather a hard thud on the ground. I slowly opened up one of my eyes and peeked down to the floor. There were 4 kids on the floor, one getting the life punched out of him with 3 others on top of him.

'Try and hurt her again and ill fucking murder you!' G shouted at him standing up and walking over to me. God it was times like these when I loved that George went to the gym like every freaking day.

'What the fuck man, you were gunna hit her.' Said another voice standing up after punching him a few times. The other kid punching him also stood up at the same time as I realised just who they were. My mouth also dropped and I must've looked like one of the kids watching a few moments ago. Stood in front of me smiling at each other was Vic looking absolutely ridiculous still wearing my bag, I couldn't help but smile but the other person shocked me more.

Tony Perry was stood next to Vic giving him a huge high five.
