Jaime and I were walking down the corridor to science when a girl wearing a bit too much makeup ran up to us.

'Hey Himeee' She said happily smiling at him.

She looked like a slut.

'Hey Rhi' He replied a bit half heartedly but smiling never the less.

I then tuned out of that conversation sighing. Yeah, as if he would want to be friends with me when there are girls like that around.

I heard some laughing behind me. I turned around to see what it was. Some guys were laughing at another kid walking past. He hadn't done anything funny and he looked sad. I guess there were bullies everywhere.

'Whats up with him then?' I asked turning around to Jaime and Rhi. They turned and followed my line of site. Jaime opened his mouth to speak when Rhi interjected. 'Oh him? That's Tony, he's a loser don't speak to him, it would be social suicide.' She warned.

'Don't be so rude Rhi' Jaime said defending the boy to my surprise. Guess he could be serious.

'Whatever, byee' She said leaving into another classroom while we continued walking.

'Seriously though.' I continued. 'Who is he?'

'He's called Tony Perry, don't even know why people don't like him. He seems cool. Used to have friends but they left and I guess he just never made any new friends' Jaime shrugged. 'He's got wicked tattoos on his belly though, dunno where he got it done though, he's only like 17.' Jaime sounded like a 10 year old boy talking about his first x box.

I laughed. 'How the hell do you know that?'

'Someone ripped his tshirt from his hands when we were changing for p.e, he turned around and everyone was just like 'whaat the' but he just got teased more for it. I thought it was awesome.'

Jaime and I had reached out classroom while he was talking about Tony and I say down next to him after he said there was no seating plan. Tony then walked in thought the door looking sad and sat down quietly at the front of the class. Nobody spoke to him for the whole lesson and I couldn't help but feel bad for him. I guess that's just me though, I hate seeing people sad.

The hour passed really quickly and the teacher was hilarious. I didn't have lesson 3 with Jaime but Emma and Ellie were there and then we all had lesson 4 together. From what I gathered Ellie and Emma weren't really good friends with Jaime but they were close enough to be able to chat comfortably with him.

After an hour of the most dull English lesson ever, Me, Emma and Jaime walked over to the canteen together to get some lunch. As I was queuing with Emma and Jaime i spotted Tony sat in the corner on a table by himself. Seeing as I wasn't actually buying anything I decided I'd go and speak to him.

'Hi guys, I know someone said it was social suicide but I don't actually care, I'm gunna go and speak to Tony cause I feel sorry for him and it doesn't look like anyone else ever will and if I don't now I never will so..' I said trying to justify myself but to my surprise Emma and Jaime smiled and told me to go for it. Seems like they had nothing against him either.

As I was approaching his table I got strange looks from various different people who saw, me even from other years as well.

How fucking judgemental.

Only one face stood out to me as I walked, he was the most beautiful looking guy ever. He had long brown hair in a side parting with a beanie pulled over it, a nose ring and the most perfect smile. And he stood out because he was the only one actually grinning at me as I sat down opposite Tony.

'Hi' I said looking at him.

He didn't look up from his iPod.

I continued to sit and look at him until eventually he did look up.

He has beautiful eyes. I'd give him that.

'look if they've got you to come and make fun of me, just get it over with, don't just sit there.' He said to me with a sad but acceptant look upon his face.

'Wait? What? no!' I exclaimed. Poor kid. Everyone must tease him. By know the whole canteen was staring and whispering. 'I just came to say hi cause you looked lonely and I saw you in class earlier and yeah' I tried to sound as genuine as possible.

'oh' was all he said.

'soo..' I started only to be interrupted by Tony.

'I have to go.' he said nervously looking around to Jaime and Emma approaching and with that he ran off.
