Chapter 41

~~Vic's P.O.V~~

It was the first day back to school after the Christmas holidays and I really didn't want to go. I was pretty sure everyone had heard about everything that had happened over the past two weeks. Nina tried to reassure me but I could tell she didn't want to go back either. Most people had probably heard about her and Jaime and I knew that worried her because she didn't want the reputation of being a slut.

Jaime was still in hospital and I hadn't seen or spoken to Tony since I had punched Jaime. I wasn't sure if he knew Nina and I were back together or not.

Nina agreed to let me drive her into school in the morning so I grabbed my stuff and my keys before shouting at Mike to get off his ass and get in the car. We drove in silence to Nina's house.

~~Nina's P.O.V~~

I didn't want to go back to school. Everyone knew what had happened between me and Jaime by now and I knew I could get called a slut multiple times. I also knew Vic would get a slagging off 1) for punching Jaime and putting him in hospital and 2) for taking me back. I sighed and prepared myself for a long and difficult day.

Waiting outside baby Vic's text came through, I grabbed my bag and ran out the door.

'Hey beautiful.' He said as I entered the back of the car, Mike was sat in the front.

'Morning handsome.' I replied and I saw Mike roll his eyes in the car mirror I just smirked at him.

We drove in silence to school and the tension radiating between all three of us was so thick you could almost see it. Vic pulled up in the parking lot and we all climbed out of the car. 'LATERSS!' Mike yelled walking off to class. Vic took my hand in his and we both let out a deep breath before walking through school. We got a lot of stares and it was like september all over again.

'Ooh look what the cat dragged in.' I heard a snidey comment from behind me. I turned and saw none other than Rhi. My grip on Vic's hand tightened and I felt him tense up beside me.

'I see you're still hanging out with that slut then.' she raised her eyebrows at Vic.

'You're one to talk.' He commented as I pulled him away down the corridor.

'I bet you only do it cause she's easy.' Rhi laughed.

Vic tried to pull away from me but I held him tightly moving my other hand so I also had held of his arm. 'Just ignore her Vic. She just wants the attention, just ignore it.' He still resisted as Rhi was laughing with her mates but I managed to pull him away.

What Rhi had said kinda hurt actually. Was Vic with me just because I was easy? No. No he wasn't I should never doubt him. I walked silently by Vic's side to my tutor room. I was just going to walk off into the room after muttering a goodbye to Vic but he caught my hand and lulled me back close to him. He took both my hands in his. 'Nina are you ok?' He asked.

'Fine.' I muttered again.

He sighed. 'Nina don't let people like her get to you. Don't let anyone get to you. As long as you know I love you you'll be fine. And please, never ever doubt my love for you ok because it's pretty much one of the only things I'm absolutely 100% certain of in this world.' he leaned down and kissed me quickly. 'Right I'll see you later. Just remember what I said baby, I love you.'

I smiled at him. 'I love you too. Bye.' I walked into the room.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and went silent as I dropped off my bag at my table. They were all staring at me. 'Oh how lovely.' I said sarcastically. I looked around the room and everyone one by one making them feel uncomfortable. I eventually looked over at Ellie and Emma and saw them moving their heads to beckon me over. Gradually conversation started again an the classroom was loud once more.

'Hey' I said sadly as I sat down with Emma and Ellie.

They both smiled at me reassuringly letting me know they didn't hate me for what I did. ' So you and err Vic are still together?' Ellie asked quietly.

'Yeh, it's.. Quite a long story, I'll explain later.'

I saw Ellie breathe out a sigh of relief. 'Oh thank god for that because Tony has been going crazy worrying about what he should do and who's side he should ta-' She stopped when she saw the huge smile spread across my face.

'Oh yeah, I saw you guys getting a bit too cosy on new years eve.' I said raising my eyebrows. Emma laughed and I saw Ellie's cheeks go bright red, I was just about to ask her more but Miss Taylor walked in to take the register.

First lesson was Maths and the whole hour dragged beyond belief without Jaime there to laugh and joke around with. I missed him loads and decided I would go and see him later. In science Tony ignored me and at the end of the lesson h practically ran out of the doors. Guess he didn't know Vic and I had sorted it out.

Tony, please don't ignore me, meet me by the art block now please I sent out a text to Tony before also sending one to Vic.

Vic I told Tony to meet me by the art block, come too so we can finally clear everything up x

Finally, we could end this shit. Tony turned up before Vic did which I was glad about, it meant I could explain.

'Hey Tony.' I smiled at him.

He gave me a small smile back. 'Hey Neen, you ok?'

'Yes, actually that's what I wanted to talk to you about. Tony I know the past week has been difficult for you because I spoke to Ellie and she told me you didn't want to pick sides and all which is really sweet and Me, Jaime and Vic have all fucked up big time but thing is, we all need to get over to because I don't even want to think of the stress we've put you under trying to decide who was right and wrong and I know you probably hate me for cheating but Vic-' I looked up and saw him approaching.

Tony followed my line of sight. 'Shit you're not gunna fight are you?' he asked worriedly but I only chuckled at his response, he looked confused.

'No Tony, I was going to say that Vic here.' I said grabbing his hand and pulling him towards me. 'Has forgiven, well, mostly forgiven the stupid mistake I made and I was wondering if maybe.. Maybe you could forgive me too? Because I miss you guys to muc-' Tony grabbed me and pulled me into a huge hug which really surprised me.

'Well thank god for that. I never hated you I just didn't want to make anything worse by taking sides.' He confessed pulling away and giving Vic a man hug.

'I think we should all go and see Jaime later cause dunno if any of you remembered but it is his birthday today.' Vic said and Tony and I were both quick to agree.
