Chapter 37

~~Nina's P.O.V~~

I woke up groggily and stretched. I had a banging headache. I looked around and didn't recognise my surroundings as my own bedroom. I sat up and looked around the room trying to ignore my headache which wasn't very successful, it was horrendous. I was about to sit back down and rest my head when I saw a figure in the corner of the room with their head in their hands and their knees pulled up. I pulled off the covers and looked down to find myself only in a long t shirt and my underwear. Shit. Shitshitshit. What did I do. I couldn't remember anything. Where was Vic? I was really worried.

I recognised the figure sat in the corner as Jaime. What the fuck was going on.

'Jaime?' I said quietly. He looked up at me and I saw his eyes were red and blotchy from crying. I had never seen Jaime cry. Things didn't look good. 'Jaime are you ok? What happened?' I forgot all about my headache as I knelt know to his level.

Jaime shook his head and a tear fell down his face. 'Te-Tess broke up with me.' he choked out before putting his head back in his hands to cry.

I couldn't believe it they had been a couple for as long as i had known them. I think it was coming up to two years since they had been together. 'Hey, hey Jaime, I'm sorry, darling, I'm sorry.' He didn't reply but I pulled him into a hug and let him cry his eyes out on the t shirt I was wearing.

After a while Jaime pulled back and put on a smile as he wiped away his last tears. He stood up and walked over to his bed and sat down. Parts of last night were drifting back to me. I remembered arguing with Vic about not being able to see his concert and then him walking off with us both being absolutely fuming with each other and I remember crying but that was it.'Err Jaime?' I said nervously and he looked up. 'What exactly happened last night? I-i don't remember past arguing with Vic.' Jaime looked down. Shit. 'Did we- er did we' I was shaking and my heart was beating fast. 'Did we sleep together?' I asked quietly dreading the answer. Oh god, what would Vic do, it would kill him. That was if he still cared after last night.

'Not quite.' Jaime said quietly.

Relief filled me and a let out a huge sigh. I was about to turn around when I registered what he had said. 'Wait, what do you mean not quite Jaime?' I said nervously.

He looked me in the eye. 'It means things got too fucking far between us Nina, too fucking far.' Jaime put his head in his hands and physically started to shake. He looked angry, very angry, I wasn't sure if he was angry at me or himself. I swallowed hard but before I could say anything Jaime continued. 'it's means I tried to fucking sleep with you, that's what it bloody well means.' he spat out. Yep angry at himself.

I couldn't believe it. I had cheated on Vic, with his best friend.

'Jaime, please tell me what happened front the start.' I said sitting down next to him. He was still shaking but told me eventually.

FLASHBACK

~~Jaime's P.O.V~~

I couldn't find Tess anywhere, she had been here a minute ago. Where was she, I wanted my new years kiss. I was looking around when I felt a pair of hands on my cheeks, they were too big to be Tess' I span around only to see Vic leaning towards me. Before I knew anything else, Vic kissed me straight on the lips before he burst out laughing. What. The. Fuck. I looked at him wide eyed with shock. I had just been kissed by my best friend. I looked up to see Nina laughing as well. Oh Christ how many people had seen.

Eventually after talking to Vic I managed to see the funny side of thing. Vic suddenly got pulled away by Nina and so I turned around to chat to some other people. After a while I heard Nina and Vic screaming at each other. Vic was being a dick to her telling he that he didn't even need her at the gig we were playing on the 22nd just because she had to go to get dads birthday. What an ass. He stormed of into the kitchen leaving Nina behind crying her eyes out. That made me angry, seeing Nina upset. She was always happy. I walked off after Vic and found him drinking in the kitchen. 'What the fuck man? What was that?' I shouted.
