A week had passed since I moved to my new school. I was slowly making new friends and people were accepting me. Turns out that apparently 'talking to Tony wasn't social suicide because you're new and you didn't know.' whatever. I'll speak to him if I like. I had actually tried to speak to him again but he was just as dismissive as last time. I really felt bad for him, he was so nervous.

~~flashback~~

'hi' I had said catching up with him to walk to science.

'Hey' he said again without looking up at me.

Tony was cute, he had long black hair with a single braid down it but most of the time he hid it under a cap. He had lovely big brown eyes and actually he looked pretty strong, yes, he had very good arms.

'How are you?' I asked jogging to catch up, god he walked like a fucking racecar.

'Fine.' He said but he just turned and walked into our classroom and say down before I could ask him anything else. I sighed and went to sit next to Jaime.

It was Friday morning and I was walking through school to get to tutor just minding my own business listening my iPod playing bring me the horizon, quite loudly I must say, but it was Friday and I was tired. Suddenly I slammed straight into something, fell down and hit the ground rather hard.

'ow.' I muttered looking down to find I had apple juice spilt all down my top.

'shit, I'm so sorry, omg I'm so so sorry.' I looked up and saw the guy who has grinned at me in the canteen when I went to speak to Tony a week ago. He was holding a now empty apple juice and my iPod that I must have thrown into the air when I fell over.

'Here.' He said holding forward his hand so I could use it to pull myself up off the ground. He hoisted me up but i groaned as I looked down at my tshirt, covered in apple juice. 'Aah man.' I muttered.

'Shit, I'm so sorry honestly. Here have this.' He said reaching down and pulling off his sweater. It was a deep red with slight patterns all over it.

Sorry did I forget to mention today was mufti which meant we could wear whatever clothes we wanted.

He handed me over his jumper smiling down at me, he was only around 2 inches taller than me but that was cool. At least he wasn't shorter.

'Oh thanks, you don't have to though' I said cautiously taking the jumper out of his hands.

'No seriously it's fine, can't be walking around with a apple juice covered top all day can you.' He smiled and laughed. 'I'm Vic by the way, it's Nina isn't it?'

wow this beautiful guy knows my name. I almost swooned but held it back. 'Yeah, Nina.' I smiled slightly. 'umm do you mind if I...' I said holding up his jumper. There was noone around so I just turned my back and changed right there. I'm not self conscious about myself but I don't like to flaunt myself either, hence why I turned my back to Vic, didn't want him getting the wrong impression, not that I would mind with a face like his.

Vic chuckled to himself as I changed into his sweater. 'what?' I asked quickly turning back round.

'Oh nothing, I've just never witnessed anyone change tops in the middle of the school grounds aha, it's cool though.' he smiled. 'Also, nice tattoo.' he said raising his eyebrows and giving me a huge grin.

I should probably mention a have a bird tattoo on the back of my right shoulder.

'Oh um yeah.' I laughed after stuffing my t-shirt in my bag and picking it up.

'Where did you get it done? You're what? 16? 17?' He asked handing me per my iPod and beginning to walk through school with me. I couldn't help but feel rather happy that Vic had chosen to walk with me.

'Ummm I maay or may nooot have a fake ID?' I said really quickly.

'Ha nice, you're sound, I was just flicking through your music, bring me the horizon, of mice and men, all time low? Great music taste.' I could help but blush a little at his compliments.

I'd seen Vic around school a few times, he was in two or three of my lessons but he seemed really popular with all the girls and boys for that matter, he was best mates with Jaime apparently but I hadn't spoken to him before.

'Ha thanks, you're pretty 'sound' too.' He was laughing at my use of his slang when I heard a small thud and turned around to see someone hit Tony straight in the face.

That was it.

I turned around to Vic and aw that he also didn't look to happy about what had just happened. 'hold these.' I said shoving my bag and iPod into his hands before quickly walking over to Tony who had now turned around and had blood pouring down his face. There was no way in hell that after seeing that, that I was going to change my mind.
