Chapter 45

~~Vic's P.O.V~~

'THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!' Tony shouted over the roar of the crowd outside. There must have been at least 600 people there. 'LOOK HOW MANY PEOPLE THERE ARE!' he jumped up and down in excitement. I was nervous as hell but I tried not to let it show.

Sadly, Mike noticed.

'Hey chill out bro, it will be fine!' Mike said walking past and slapping me on the back. He wasn't one for comfort.

Jaime stood next to Tony jumping up and down in excitement too looking at the crowd. 'Ok guys, on you go!' Alex, one of the crew members said pushing us onstage. The crowd went mental.

~~Nina's P.O.V~~

Flashback****

Nina please come and watch from backstage' Vic whined at me.

'No, I like being in the crowd it feels good I'll just meet you at the end.' I stood my ground.

Vic looked unimpressed. 'But you'll be all alone!' He protested.

'No I won't, Mike invited Maisie, I'll just hang out with her.' I rolled my eyes at him.

'Fine but no provoking or promiscuous dancing.' He sounded like my dad.

'Yes Sir!' I saluted at him as he chuckled and walked off backstage to meet his band.

End of flashback****

'I can't wait to see Mike perform!' Maisie squealed from next to me. Despite being two years younger we got along really well and she was really sweet. 'But what if he messes up, he was nervous about that before the show.' A worried expression crossed her face.

I smiled at her. 'He'll be fine Mais, he never ever messes up. He's one smooth ass motherfucker Michael Fuentes is.' I reassured her.

'Oh I hope so!' She tried to smile.

She was about a similar hight to me and I turned to the side so I could see her face. 'So, what are you guys? Has he asked you out yet?' To be quite honest, I was amazed that Mike had stuck with her so long though from what I had seen he was absolutely smitten with her.

'No.' She looked down. 'I dunno, I don't think he likes me like that.' She looked as but tried to hide it with a shrug.

'Fuck that Mais, he's absolutely smitten with you, he's always happy for hours before and after seeing you before he turns into a moody hormonal teenager again.' I put my hand on her arm.

Mike and Maisie had been talking practically everyday since Vic gave her his number. They had met up a few times and Mike had even invited her over and let her play his drum kit which shocked Vic and I massively. He never let anyone go near his drums let alone play them. I liked Maisie because she wasn't a crazy fan girl, she wasn't slutty, didn't show off her body even though she had a great figure, she was kind and polite, had great taste in music, not to mention she was absolutely stunning. I hoped Mike asked her out soon, they just made the perfect couple.

'really?' she asked but I couldn't reply because the crowd started cheering really loud as my 4 favourite people walked on stage.

The boys did a quick sound check and tuning before Vic started to speak into his microphone.

'Hello Everyone! I hope you're all having a wonderful evening. To start this show tonight we're going to play a new song. I wrote it about three months after going through quite a rocky patch with my band here and my girlfriend, Nina Gallagher.' I smiled knowing he wanted people to recognise me as his girlfriend. 'Thankfully it's all sorted out now even if I did end up putting Jaime here is hospital.' Vic turned and winked at Jaime. 'But anyway without further ado, this one is called bulletproof love.'
