Albus' P.O.V

I walked back into the hospital room where Scorpius and my father were still talking. Scorpius spotted me and jumped up quickly.

"Sit, I'll be back." He said and took Salem by the hand taking him away. I looked at my father and chuckled softly.

"Kind of brings me back to when you were here because of the twins." I told him and he smiled slightly.

"The time they were in distress, scary night for all of us." He said and I nodded.

"I was afraid I'd lose you." I said and he grabbed my hand holding it for security.

"I know but you didn't just like you didn't lose me now." He said and I nodded.

"Scorpius was there with me all night, stayed by my side." I sniffled a little. "Have I made a mistake?"

"Well he tells me you just don't want to be coddled." He said and I nodded. "Well maybe being coddled is a good thing at this time. Albus you know how much I would have killed for someone to hold me during this time? Besides Aunt Hermione, I had no one. No one to tell me it was going to be okay, no one was there to tell me it wasn't my fault, and no one was there to love me the way Scorpius loves you. Albus, Scorpius doesn't mean to coddle you but obviously you aren't well and as much as you don't want it, he should be able to fuss over you."

"I don't think he'll want to after the discussion we had."

"Albus he loves and trusts you but you hurt him."

"I know I did."

"You have to make it right, take him out. Have a date night and talk to him." He said and then moved his hand to my neck and jaw. "And I mean talk. I know I said don't yell before but jumping in bed wasn't what I had in mind."

"It was his fault." I said lamely and he smirked.

"You participated just as much." He said and I blushed. "I know you love Scorpius and that you both think its okay right now but where you left off, it isn't. There's still tension and that's not good."
"I know." I nodded.

"So you two still need a lot of time but I suggest you two take the day."

"What about Salem?"

"I've taken him to my grandparents." Scorpius' voice sounded at the door. I turned back and he gave me a look. "Thought we were gonna be here most of the day and I decided a hospital is no place for a child. They were very happy to take him in."

"Okay." I said and then looked at my father who nodded. I stood up and Scorpius gave me a look. "Do you wanna do something today? Just us?" I asked and he studied my face.

"What about your father?" He asked.

"I'll be here, go ahead have some fun." He said and Scorpius nodded.

"Okay sure what did you have in mind?" Scorpius asked with a slight smile.

"We can go to Hogsmeade and have lunch maybe shop a little."

"Okay, sure." He nodded and I intertwined our hands. I walked him over to my father whom we hugged goodbye and then left the hospital apparating to Hogsmeade from there. He grabbed my hand and I smiled.
