"Chloe!" I scream. She's hanging from her roof, thrashing around. I throw caution to the wind and decide to run inside. I open her door and try to find the stairs.

"Who the hell are you?!" I hear a girl shout.

"I'm Dan, come with me! Hurry!" I yell, running up the stairs. I find the stairs leading to the attic already open and scale them as fast as I can. I look around until I find the window, along with a pair of non-moving legs.

"Call the ambulance right now!" I shout as I run to the window top speed. I smash it open with my feet and lean out. Her still body is dangling, no more thrashing. I grab her waist to take the weight off her throat and unwrap the noose. I put her still frame over my shoulder and bring her inside. I lay her motionless body on the floor.

"Chloe?" I ask, hoping I'm not too late. I check for a pulse. I feel one, but it's barely there.

"Oh my god! What did you do to her?" I hear the girl scream, her just coming up the stairs.

"Nothing! She was going to hang herself and slipped. Did you call them?" I demand.

  "Yeah-"

"What did you tell them?" I interrupt.

"Our address, and that  I was supposed to call them, but I didn't know why. I assured them it wasn't a prank, and they said they'll be here soon," she says, shaking.

I start trying to get her to come-to, but she's still not breathing. I'm losing her. I don't know what to do so I hold her hand and keep trying until the ambulance comes.

"Don't die. You deserve more of a life than this. You can't die," I keep repeating.

When the ambulance comes I take the older girl and a little boy in my car to the hospital.

     Please don't die, Chloe.
