"Coming!" I hear Chloe yell. Why am I nervous? I have this all planned out, and I've been alone with her before. Is my hair okay? Oh well, let's hope so.

She opens the door and my breath hitches, she looks beautiful.

"You look amazing," I blurt. She giggles.

"Why thank you! You don't look so bad yourself Mr. Tuxedo!" she winks.  "So where are we going?"

  "It's a surprise!" I say.

"Daniel Howell don't do anything that you're going to regret!" she warns.

  "I promise, you'll love it." I chuckle.

When we get to the spot, I jog around to her side and open the door for her.

"Such a gentleman!" she smiles. She looks around, and then back at me. "Where are we?"

"My favorite place in the world," I reply taking her hand and leading her to a rock.

We're at the waterfall that only Phil and I know about. It's got rocks and trees surrounding the clear pool of fresh, turquoise water. The trees are usually green and it's such a dramatic change from the depressing weather of London. This waterfall means a lot to me. Phil and I were driving around outside London one day when we stumbled upon this place, and it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

"It's so beautiful!" she exclaims, sitting down. I go back to the car and grab a picnic basket.

"Cheeky," she mutters as we take off our shoes and socks and dangle our feet in the water.

We eat our little sandwiches that Phil and I made today, and talk about all kinds of things. We sit in silence for a while too, which is nice. We don't even have to be talking, we can just be in each other's presence and it's relaxing, there's no pressure to talk or fill the silence. It's so peaceful.

My plan is to ask her to be my girlfriend. I doubt she will say yes, but I really really want this. She is so perfect, in every single way. I'm so drawn to her and her smile is more than I can handle. The way she's so gentle and sweet, I know I'm too old for her but we won't do anything illegal. I wouldn't do that to her.

I just want to know why she's so reserved. What did that James guy do? I mean, I've heard about him from my little nephew but I don't really know that much about him. He's kind of a dick but I don't see what he could have done that was so bad.

Right around sunset, I finally feel like I've mustered up the courage to ask her.

  "Chloe?"

"Mm?" She smiles at me, completely relaxed.

"Would you," I start and she looks  me right in the eyes with her own beautiful ones.

"Would you like to be my girlfriend?"
