Ryan’s POV
When Alison and I had left the diner, we decided to go back to the house and just have a movie day or something. When we got back to the apartment, the paps had gone and one of Ben and I’s bodyguards was standing by the entrance of the building. A look of confusion crossed my face as I got out of the car and walked towards the entrance.
“Joe.” I greeted him as I came closer.
“Hello Ryan.” He greeted back.
“Did our manager call or something?” I asked.
“No, Ben called this morning, saying something about wanted his sister to be safe. Luke and I are taking turns standing guard.” He answered.
“And let me guess, Ben told you not to let me persuade you to leave.” I said.
“Exactly.” He stated.
“Alright, well thanks for getting the paps to back off.” I said.
“No problem.” He answered.
With that, I grabbed Ali’s hand and led her up the stairs and into the apartment. When we got there, we both slipped off our shoes and jackets before walking in further.
“I’m going to go get changed.” Alison stated before walking off back the hallway.
“Do you want some tea?” I yelled back the hall.
“If you don’t mind, yes please!” She yelled back.
I walked into the kitchen, grabbing two coffee cups and turning on the Keurig, which if I do say so myself, makes life a hell of a lot easier. I made Alison’s favorite tea and then mine before adding sugar. I then made my way into the living room to find Ali on the couch, flipping through channels trying to find something to watch.
I handed her her tea before stating that I was going to change as well. When I got back, I found Alison sitting right in front of the TV, searching through the stand. She was looking through the TV series’ that I owned, scrunching up her nose as she couldn’t find anything she liked.
I stood in silence behind her just watching as she became more and more frustrated. I walked to the other side of the room, where I had more TV series’ on a book shelf. I grabbed the one thing I thought she would enjoy more than anything.
“Looking for this?” I asked as I held the case up.
She turned around to face me, taking the sight of the case in before a wide grin came across her face. She popped up from the floor and walked over to me, eyeing the case, and then the shelf behind me. She walked over to the case, searching through it, before gasping.
“Forget Supernatural, you have Doctor Who!” She yelled.
She scanned the shelf a bit more before pulling a case off the shelf and examining it closely. She looked at the case, then at me, and back to the case. She opened her mouth to say something but then closed it again, obviously not knowing what to say. She obviously found her words before long.
“Why do you have this?” She asked.
“Uhm, you know, just for a laugh.” I answered as I scratched the back of my neck.
She opened the case and pulled out the disk, examining the back of it. She had a smirk on her face.
“This has been played quite a few times by the looks of it.” She said.
“I mean, Jackie liked to watch it.” I said trailing off.
“You are not getting past this one Lewis. I think it’s you who likes watching it.” She said.
