Alison’s POV

I woke up a few hours into the flight, still having two hours left. I looked over at Ryan to find him on his phone doing something. I decided to find out what all we were doing while in London.

“So what’s on the agenda for the day when we get there?” I asked.

“Radio, interviews, small gigs, that type of thing. Tricia is coming with us because she always does, but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. You can always stay in the hotel or go out shopping.” He answered still not looking away from his phone.

“I could see if Mike and Ed are free and do something with them I suppose.” I said.

“We are totally free.” A voice said from behind Ryan and I.

I turned around in my seat and looked back to find Ed and Mike sat there. I let out a laugh and smiled at the two before facing Ryan.

“I guess I’ve got something to do then.” I said.

He nodded his head, still not looking up from his phone. The smile I previously wore dropped and I looked at him with confusion. What was so important that he was barely paying attention to me?

“Ryan?” I asked.

“Hmm?” He asked.

“What’re you doing?” I asked.

“Nothing.” He replied.

“If it’s nothing you’d be looking at me when you talk.” I said.

He finally looked up at me before locking his phone and placing it in his pocket.

“Sorry.” He said as he took my hand in his.

“What were you doing?” I questioned.

“Reading some of the articles about Jackie and I so that I knew what I might be asked in interviews.” He answered.

“Oh.” I replied.

“Sorry, I was paying attention though. Have fun with Mike and Ed okay?” He said.

“I’m sure I will.” I said smiling.

He smiled back at me before placing a kiss on my knuckles again like he had done earlier and then putting an arm around my shoulders. I laid my head on his chest and fell asleep once again.

Two hours later when the plane was making its descent, Ryan woke me so that I was ready to get off the plane when we landed. When we did land and got off the plane, Ed and Mike followed us out and we talked about how we would meet up later. We agreed that they would meet me outside of the hotel that Ryan and Ben had booked.

When we got to the hotel, Ryan, Ben, and Tricia immediately started getting ready for their day of interviews and everything while I just threw on a pair of jeans, a white shirt, and one of my new pairs of shoes. I put on my jacket, scarf, and beanie before grabbing my guitar that I had thankfully remembered to bring.

Mike sent me a text telling me he was downstairs so I said my good byes and good lucks to Ben and Ryan before heading downstairs. When I got outside, I found Mike and Ed standing there also holding their guitars.

“Looks like we all had the same idea.” Mike said with a laugh.

“It looks that way.” I said smiling.

“So where to?” Ed asked.

“I know the best place.” Mike said before placing his arm over my shoulders and leading me down the street.

Ed’s POV

As Mike and Alison walked ahead of me talking, I hung back taking in their actions towards each other. For the past 4 months, Mike had hoped to see her in California while he was busking, but he hadn’t. He knew her story and was worried something had happened to her after not seeing her.
