Warning: Don't kill me... This is probably the longest chapter I've written I think, and I literally cried writing it. A lot happens. You've been warned...

Ben's POV

"Alison!" I yelled backstage as I finished up soundcheck.

"Yeah?" She questioned as she walked out onto the stage.

"You want your surprise now?" I asked.

"Sure." She replied with a shrug.

"So as you know, we don't normally have an opening act, but we were thinking maybe we could use one. Ryan mentioned someone and the entire crew here agreed that that person would be perfect for the job." I said.

"Okay, so who did you get?" She asked.

"Well it's not really who we got, but whether or not that person says yes to doing it." I replied.

"Okay... I'm not quite understanding Ben." She said confused.

"Will you be our opening act?" Ryan questioned from his spot behind us.

Alison's eyes grew wide as she looked at the two of us, not believing what she had just heard.

"What?" She asked.

"Will you be the opening act?" I repeated.

"I couldn't possibly do that. I'd be terrible compared to you guys." She replied as she shook her head.

"That is the biggest load of shit I have ever heard." A voice said from the front row of seats infront of the stage.

We all turned to see a familiar face sitting there, crutches to his side.

"Mike?" Alison and I questioned at the same time.

"Thanks for coming Mike." Ryan said as he jumped off the stage to shake his hand.

"You invited Mike?" Alison asked.

"I thought you might want the support." Ryan replied.

"And I wanted to come apologize for what happened. I was being stupid." Mike replied as he looked up at her.

"It's going to take a lot more than an apology to make up for what you did." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Alison..." Mike started.

"Save it Mike." She replied before beginning to walk off stage, only turning around to look at me and say "And no, I won't open for you."

I let out a sigh before turning to Ryan and Mike with a glare.

"Did you really think that would help?" I asked them before turning to follow Alison out.

"Ali wait!" I yelled as I sprinted after her.

"Did you know about this?" She asked angrily as she turned to face me.

"I had no idea, I swear." I answered as I finally caught up with her.

"I cannot believe him." She said as she shook her head.

"Ryan or Mike?" I questioned.

"Take your pick." She replied as she ran a hand through her hair.

"Why won't you perform?" I asked.

"Why do you want me to?" She questioned.

"Why wouldn't I want you to?" I threw back.

"I'll sing. Under one condition." She replied.

"Anything." I said.

"You let me come out during your set and we perform Otherside together." She said.
